The "big 19" explanation – episode 15 – Alakazam (part 4) – The new method against Chansey

Now it is the new method time!

The new method results are calculated using re-calculated Pokémon's base stats.

Alakazam has 86.047 GP, although the new method does not weigh the base ATK too much, its stats are still too high to be nerfed.

Chansey has 32.712 GP, its normal attack and defense stats are too low in the main series compared to Alakazam, its HP stat doesn't help her too much due to still being square rooted in the formula.

Formula is a secret, you may want to guess it by yourself. It is about a different way about the game translating base stats. Every Pokémon is set to level 1 with a 10/10/10 IV.

Alakazam is advanced!

Machamp coming soon!

Are those points for an Alakazam on defense vs a Chansey on defense? And why no longer Blissey?

If someone gives a formula to evaluate a pokemon, and he explains what he does, few others might be interested and try to follow his thoughts and maybe give input to make it better.

If someone gives no formula, but some (not reasonable) values and wants others to guess forumula and thinking behind..... i think, this player overestimates himself a lot.

Ok, just to give you a formula:
Value(pokemon) = random * 100.000

Is this even still a thing?

Alakazam is quite useless against chansey, Flareon is faster, Dragonite is faster, Tyranitar is faster, Machamp is definitely faster, I'd wager even Gengar is better with the NVE.

No. With same dodging pattern all of those pokemon (alakazam, dragonite, tyranitar, flaren) with a good stab-moveset and a an attack stat about 250, perform equally. Let us say, +-10%.
Machamp: better, because of VE
Gengar: worse, because of NVE.

333-blue at his best. You should read the 14 parts, that are already published.

This guy seems to think that he has a surperior understanding of the game and tries to explain his weird theorys to other trainers.
Some try to give constructive comments, some make fun of him, some take him for serious, some warn those, who have taken him for serious and are about to do something wrong.

He seems not to notice anything at all.
