RHYDON: Tyranitar Killer?
So in preparation for Gen 2 (high iv eevee's, horsea's, V-day event), I also was trying to figure out some more creative ways to take out the big bad monster that takes down whole mountains (allegedly). Easily I could put my Vape on 'me, but I'm sure that will get old quick, so I remember looking at the typing chart on a quest for a big boy that could star in a 1962 King Kong vs. Godzilla flic -- this is what I came up with after month of plotting.
Need a lot of boosting, but even with Iron Tail and a 370 CP difference, I'm thinking Tyranitar is going to have a bad day when he meets the Don! ? Yours thoughts?

I got a CxDP Champ, but I haven't put him up against Ty' yet, I keep him on reserve for Blissey. Got a Machoke I should have ready next week, hope for the same set or the CxCC set, I don't have that one.
And I always strike out on Poliwrath, I don't even bother no more. Some things I just have no luck on, man. ?
That's a fair point, but I would counter with the fact that you want to become as proficient as possible using the top-tier mons with their best movesets, because when PvP drops even one mistake could cost you the battle.
I would want to get as comfortable with all the top movesets as possible for mons like D9, T-Rex, Champ, Blissey, Lax, Gyarados, Vape, etc. I am sure you can take down T-rex with your Rhydon, and it might be pretty fun with that moveset, but I would rather focus my energy on the top-tier mons as they will likely be the same ones featured on your PvP squad.
