What to do with a Tyranitar with B-Crunch???

I was working a lot to get a Tyranitar and a week ago i hatched a 98%. It got bite/crunch and i was happy to see that it is ranking A for atk. But i am really disapointed over him. I am lvl 35 and kan get him over 3400 cp when i have enough candies. DRAGONITE is so much better in attaking. Do you have some idear how to use him??

How do you use DRAGONITE?
I always found there are some better choices in attacking.

Dragonite with Dragon Breath is just awesome.

I personally am an Exeggutor lover and have always at least 2 in my roaster but depends on what you prefer and what kind of mons you're facing.

How do you use it? These moves are quite slow to me and behaved really bad against db/dc dragonite.

What do you mean how do you use it? Lol both are great for different matchups. DT/O vs Blissey, Snorlax w/ ZH/HB and DB/DC vs Vape w/ WG/ AT and Snorlax w/ ZH/BS or other Pokémon you need to dodge against. DT/ O kills any Pokémon faster than DB/DC and you retain more HP w/ DB/DC. Best case scenario you have both.

Well dark is SE to psychic and ghost. Ghost typing is lackluster in the current gym meta, but Psychic may be prevalent. With high CP Psychic's like Exeggutor, Espeon, and Alakazam, your Bite/Crunch does well. Outside of that, Its honestly is going to be an all around attacker with few strong matchups.

Tyranitar weakness limits him from being over powered.

lol I made this post like a week ago. B/C is one of the only usable attacks Tyranitar has. She has been amazing vs Blissey. It's blessed w/ a rock and dark type so except DG nothing does SE damage vs this beast. Crunch isn't SE but it's pretty awesome. You'll be one of the only ones who can attack Mewtwo w/ the best Dark type attacker in the game. Btw what are your Dragonite movesets? Dragonite is much more of a glass cannon than this beast. Crunch feels a lot like Outrage and DP it's a slow quick move, but hits hard.

Did you mean it's a "slow charge move"? If not, then I don't understand what you're saying.

Yup, I totally agree. I'm not sure I understand why you'd be disappointed in B/C, as it's a powerful attacking moveset that is fairly comparable to B/SE. I'd be thanking my lucky stars:

GP user Future said it best above.

I won't repeat what was said, but think long term, with a CP that high, and typing he may be a good mon vs. Celebi (depending if it has grass set), Lugia, Mew, and may even give a Mewtwo a hard time until he maxes over 4k.

I got the same one you got, 98 BxCr, good thing about 98's, they max out just over 36hun, and still solid defender w that set.

If it's got a good moveset why are you disappointed? Even if you already have a Dragonite with a good attacking moveset, you can still take Tyranitar with you when choosing 6 to take down a high level gym. Your Dragonite won't do it solo.

There are psychic type legendaries in every generation. A dual-dark type mon will flourish against them

Honestly, I rarely use Dragonite , I always have better options.... Dragonite is a good "general attacker", but other than other dragonites and maybe snorlax, there's always a better choice to deal with every pokemon, getting type advantage over them. Tyranitar is pretty much the same, Dark only has advantage over Ghost and Psychic, and the only relevant defender in those types is Exeggutor, and even those are rare and you are usually better of using a bug or fire pokemon...Maybe you could make an argument for using him as stone attacker vs dragonite, but he doesn't have a pure Stone moveset.

In the end, he's just another high CP "defender" to place in gyms.

Bug and fire don't resist psychic and Espeons are increasingly common in gyms by virtue of their CP... Tyranitar is a really awesome Pokemon, but using only Dragonite can be really boring so I understand what you're saying.

May not resist psychic, but both bug and fire are SE against exeggutor. Bug is actually double SE against exeggutor.

Yeah I have two Scizzors 1 w/ 2 bug moves, but it's a glass cannon. Tyranitar can take a hit or two if I miss a dodge. I prefer that but I guess it's based on different styles.
