Lapras FB/Blizzard

Hi, all. I have 1 Lapras from egg for more than half a year of playing. I have enought candies and dust to power up for 35lvl.
Iv 84
Frost Breath/Blizzard
I'am looking for strong defender.
Should I wait for Hydro pump?

After the Gen2 update, Lapras' CP doesn't get high enough to place competitively in gyms and it no longer has access to Ice Shard, its best defensive move.

Lapras' best/main use now is for destroying Dragonites. Frost Breath/Blizzard is its best moveset for doing that.

I thought it was FB/IB?? & it's a very majestic and awesome Pokémon in the gym. Lol Lapras is a solid attacker into a lot of Pokémon: Exeggutor, Tyranitar, Rhydon, and Dragonite, so it's hard to say it's only a niche attacker specially for Dragonite. It's def not the best generalist attacker, but it's def the most majestic.

I have the exact same Lapras (IV and moves) and it is also the only one I have (although a wild one got away). I use it to attack Dragonites in gyms. She isn't a great defender anymore due to low CP.

Use him as an attacker.... His not an Ideal Pokes as defender since the last update...

Thanks but I don't need ice attackers.
So want to get advise regarding Blizzard at deffense.

If you want to use it as a def poke by all means do that. Blizzard is still good, avalanche is better as far as ice goes and the cp wont be as high as some common gym rats but slowbro is gud too use him
