Power up Snorlax 78iv

Yes, power up that Lax. It is the greatest defensive moveset and it's now legacy! I am assuming you are concerned with a lower CP because of the low IV, but I am sure you can find a gym to place him/her in.

I'd probably have to do it, 2 more IV and he "simply amazes" which for some reason is a huge psychological thing even though the difference is near non-existent. Body Slam is crazy good. Once I'm done walking Chansey, which may be never, I'm going back to Snorlax and gonna power up a Lick/BS. BS is really good, you almost force people to dodge his quick moves regardless just cuz they don't wanna get caught.

Excellent attack is beneficial because it contributes a lot to cp and will lead your snorlax to placing higher than say one with slightly higher IVs but significantly lower distribution towards attack IVs.

For example, I have an 84% 14/10/14 that pans out at 3242? I also have a 78% 15/10/10 that pans out at 3242.

If you did decide to invest in it, it will certainly be an asset when trading is live. As for the moveset, I have one and it's doooope. I think it will sit higher than all 100% gyarados and at least the majority of Rhydon (i'm pretty certain..)

How many candies do you have? You could do what I did: power up the one with better IVs until it's maxed out, collect a few candies for when you reach the next level, and then invest any additional candies into the ZH/BS?

The CP will still be higher than most other mons at the same level...and that chargemove is beast.
He will even make a good attacker...best of both worlds, so versatile.

Feed him candy.

PS If it is a female then it is even more desirable.

I would trade a lot to have that snorlax. Since the game released I found ONE ZH/BS snorlax worth using. It is only 29% IVs and I have powered it up all the way. Dump all your dust and candies into it. It is by far the best snorlax defending moveset and no longer obtainable.

1. It's a legacy moveset so there's no "waiting for a better one"
2. Even if it wasn't a legacy moveset, it's still regarded as the best defensive moveset on Snorlax, so powering it wouldn't be a waste even if you were fortunate enough to hatch another one with higher IVs with ZH/BS. The older one wouldn't become unusable.
3. Those IVs are fine. Even assuming worst possible distribution of IVs (13A / 7D / 15S) it still has higher max CP than a 45 IV Blissey (3257 vs 3219) and you can guarantee that you'll be seeing them in gyms, so therefore you'll place above them for sure if your Snorlax is higher level.

Your 78Iv with ZH/BS is a much better Snorlax than your 91IV, IMO. I would not hesitate to power him up

I was lucky and got a ZH/BS Snorlax before the attack set was canceled out. He has 76% IV and yesterday I powered him up to cross the 3k line at lvl 34,5. He's a BEAST defensively a la Ben Wallace ?
