Same with Dragonite. Seems like only Blissey and Snorlax are 10's

Dragonite is ranked 9.5 too, and I think Tyranitar has even more weaknesses (Fight, Bug, Fairy, Water, Ground, Grass, and Steel).

The 9.5 rank is not for the number of weaknesses, I think it is mainly because they have double weakness to some type.

I think it is only because blissey is 10 and nothing comes close to her on def.

I think the rank encompasses a lot of factors / considerations including double weaknesses and possibly the number of weaknesses, but I could be wrong. Hypothetically, if a mon was weak to all types, regardless if it was double or single, shouldn't that be a factor in the ranking?

Tyranitar as Dragonite, Gyarados and Rhydon has double weakness, even having a very high cp and good stats their weaknesses are more than enough to say that they can't never be a 10.

They are making the rating based on blissey. Blissey is probably about 12 since snorlax is 10. It seems like they are putting defense on top of attack to make it.

It's got some very exploitable weaknesses as a defender. Look at the pages where gamepress talks about making the list. In simulated matchups against heracross and machamp, it didn't even live long enough to get a charge move in on defense unless it had crunch (not unlike HB dragonite vs good ice counter). The two rank 10 pokemon are snorlax and blissey, which are very strong (insanely strong in the case of blissey) defenders.

If Dragonite and T-Rex are 9.5, I would definitely adjust the ranks for mons like Rhydon and Gyarados. Not in the same tier as all-around mons.

Because I beat 2900'cp one with a 1400 slowbro this morning... drops mic...

Hahahahah ... but tray only half kidding as I was not impressed with any of the fights I had with T. rex thus far... disappointing considering all the hype at the onset... haven't tried one as an attacker as I do not have one yet, but I am hoping for something to like if I am evea able to get one ( not too many larvitars where I'm at...)

I have had a couple of fights against a 30xx Tyranitar (must be from a spoofer as I have not come across a single Larvitar in my area) and have really not been impressed.

My 2806 Vape with hydro-pump easily took the T-rex down with two charge moves and without the T-rex getting off its charge move (fire blast as I found out later). I was expecting a tough fight, but this was nothing.

I am surprised that Tyranitar is as high as 9.5.

Tyranitar has a double weakness to fighting and a half dozen single weaknesses. If it didn't have the highest CP available, it would be a 9 or 8.5.
