Why is pound considered = or > to feint attack for defensive Wigglytuff.
Defensive DPS
Pound : 2,76x1,25=3,45
Feint : 3,95

For EPS :
We need 15x pound to reach 100 energie. 15x pound takes 15x0,54s+13x2s= 34,1s
So EPS is 100/34,1= 2,93
We need 10x Feint to reach 100 energie 10x Feint takes 10x1,04+8x2s=26,4
100/26,4=3,79

Am I wrong?

According to my calculations, feint does more damage and gives more energy than pound when defending.

And it doesn't change much for type matchups.
Either there is something wrong or there is something I'm missing.

Same thing for Clefable with Pound and Zen Headbutt

Like Morpheus pointed out in a previous post, I feel like your are taking attacking EPS into account instead of defensive EPS when calculating defensive moveset power.

Yeah they definitely are using attacking EPS on defense, it's only explanation since nearly every other list out there lists feint/dazzling the best defensive move-set by far. Its obvious with other pokemon like butterfree too, where they put bug bite over confusion despite how much better confusion is defensively.

Just on defense:
Feint attack/Dazzling Gleam is best for Wigglytuff.
Zen Headbutt/Dazzling Gleam is best for Clefable (which is actually what is listed best on this site lol).

Feint Attack and Zen Headbutt are practically the same, so it's not surprising they're both on top.

Hello boy, I exchanged email with gamepress to discuss moveset.
in fact we must take into account an additional random factor
PlayR (or other charged move) is not launched automatically when the energy is available. sometimes it takes some extra kick.
if we enter this factor in the simulation, pound and feint got almost the same result. (combination playR in def mode)
