Best Blissey counters

For pound Blisseys Machamp with C/DP and for ZH Blisseys a Zam with PC and Focus blast. Although with the Zam you have to have a follow up attacker Ive found using him or potentially two of them is the most potion effective way to beat Blissey besides being very fast. Havnt seen anybody mention this Zam yet surprisingly.

Any others tried a PC/FB Zam before?

Pc/Fb and Pc/Fs are both on my wishlist - Pc/Fs as a generalist, Pc/Fb specifically for Blissey/Lax.

I have 2 C/Fs so far, 2 Pc/P and even 2 C/P...just not the 2 I really want now.

Its crazy how much damage Fb does on Lax

Now I want it even more than I did...if that is possible.

Ive caught by luck and Using no dust:

Zam with PC/FB CP 2500, 82 iv
Ursprung Counter/FB 2100 71 IV

I think a powered up ursa would be more effective but im not Sure.

I usually just spam 2900+ CP dragonite, snorlax and rhydon to deal with blissey or exeggutor

I haven't struggled with a ZH Blissey with my Machamp to much actually. Its not ideal and he might faint, but I can beat it before timeout. But alakzam might be worth to try out.

Future Sight would be better

Actually no against Bliss FB>FS. Im not gonna bore you with the math but hey thanks for contributing your opinion.

We're talking about 10-15 damage, less dodging flexibility, and it's considerably worse in almost every other matchup.

But yeah, get excited about Focus Blast why dont ya? If you don't mind taking more damage, and having a worse mon in just about every other matchup, then go with Focus Blast.

As long as youve tried it you have a right to an opinion. I dont have a PC/FS Zam so I cant say for sure but to me the math favors PC/FB . I find its easier leading with a FB zam and following up with a DBDC and dodge everything. Its a great combination of faster and and low potion cost.

I've been having good luck with Alakazam just to confirm, but mine is PC/Psychic. Not as efficient as a FB one, but any PC Zam probably does the trick

40% less damage per charge move is significant IMO. Once you try it let us know what you think. PC is not the critical part FB is...

*edit : just to state the facts. PC is no longer the highest DPS quick attack as it was pre Gen 1 its now a #4 ranked quick move in energy gain per sec. At 8.33 its the 10 worst DPS in the game.

If you arent' dodging quick moves, you might as well go with Confusion instead of PC, right? I would think that as a Blissey specialist, Confusion-FB would be optimal, damage-wise, whereas PC/FS would be optimal for dodging (and FS is only slightly less damage than FB in this matchup).

For me PC is way easier to dodge with just like DB your favorite move lol. What Ive noticed is the key is to not get hit by DG while your In CD for FB. I usually dont dodge until after I release FB once.

Just dnite with Dragon breath and dragon claw, believe me - my 3400 can take down ANY blissey I've ever met (best was 3119 and I got 10-15 secs left)
