Those who played the main series games will know what i am talking about, do you guys think Niantic will add drugs in the future? Protein to + attk stat, Iron to + def stat etc, to let us "buff" our Pokemon's IVs? With a limit of course, maybe 3 pops per Pokemon.

I remember those vaguely... but I don't remember if those let you go above the caps, or just raise up to caps

Nope, we will just see a lot of Magikarps in gyms.

In the original games (I only played gen 1 and 2), you could buff your mon until you maxed each IV. I don’t see this happening unless Niantic makes stats readily available for each mon. While most serious players know how to find out what their exact stats are, a lot of people don’t worry about IV’s at all. The issue is that the game would just be about movesets because IV could be altered. I think moveset re-roll would be better than IV adjustments because IV is what really makes each mon individual and different, that’s why it’s called individual values. I find it really fun to check the IV’s of my last hunt when I get back inside.

Vitamins, as they are usually called, raise Effort Values (EVs) not Individual Values (IVs).

Sun & Moon's hyper training is the first and only way to increase IVs.

You are right, I misspoke. Thanks for the link, I only played Gen 1 and 2 so I assumed I was raising the IV’s when I gave them candies. I couldn’t wait for Gen 2 but I can wait a while for Gen 3 considering I don’t even know the names from Gen 3.

I would like to see both the ability to change move sets and buff IV in the game. Both should require great effort, however.
From what I remember of the old games, moves sets were changed through training; and stats were buffed with items. It would be good have training do something for the Mon. Maybe captured pokes could drop IV buffs and evo items at a very low rate also. It would be nice to have a few things come from somewhere other than pokestops.
