Confusion/Psychic Exeggutor

Is this guy still worth using for defense?

Before the move balance, this was one of my go-to defenders and I powered it up every chance I could.

Now I haven't powered it in a while and was wondering if it was close to Confusion/Seed Bomb and worth investing in. I had a bunch C/SB but transferred them before the update and now I'm kicking myself for doing so.

I've got my Blissey, Snorlax, Lapras, and Vaporeon so this would be my fifth in line of defenders if I ever needed to reach that deep for gym holders, which I rarely do. But I feel it's still good to have some options.

Definitely power up that Exeggutor. Exeggutor's confusion absolutely wrecks in the gym. Although seed bomb is ideal, confusion on an exeggutor in general is really good.

Confusion is the new bubble. For now the first 3 confusions are really hard to dodge while fitting my own QM inbetween them. I just spam dodge for first 7 sec so I dont get a hit.

I may power it up if it got Future Sight since Exeggutor can last long enough to use at least once.

Psychic is now nearly useless, just like Fire Blast. Poor Exeggutor and Arcanine.

Just keep it as rewards and remembrance from original set-up... Then if you want a good defender try to have C/SeB... Good Luck!

I'll definitely keep it. I would love to try for C/SeB and have over 500 candies to do so since I live in a grass biome, but confusion is now a legacy move and I transferred all the ones I had with this moveset long ago. :(

I would power it up still. I have one with that moveset that I'm still using. It hits very hard.

Most of the pokemon in gyms around here are vaporeons and gyarados, and it goes great in between two of these. Is it the same for gyms near you?

What level are you and what would the max CP be of your Exeggutor? I have a few that I keep powering up that sit at just over 2600CP.

Confusion hits hard and Psychic comes really fast and can be hard to dodge. If you can get him in a gym and he's not at the bottom I say go for it.

I love my Eggies even if they may be lower in the gyms. I know they wreck havoc on whoever is attacking.
