When you are L30+
Guys when you reach L30 +up
Which do you prefer with your poke coins?
Incubator or Lucky eggs? or any other regardless the "Styles"
Edit: For those who got their coins via collection from GYMS... No real money matter....

Agree. I haven't done a lucky egg since hitting level 30. I'll hit 34 next week sometime, but I'm not in any hurry. It'll be expensive to power up the defenders that I keep maxed out (and a handful of attack beasts), but honestly haven't used much stardust in a while and I almost have 1,000,000 (that's a side goal of mine). It'll be a big dust spending spree. Mostly I grind and battle. But it's still fun. Always trying to improve the team.
As far as coins go, I maxed out bag and box, get some incubators here and there, but mostly save coins to increase the egg hatching during events. I was able to get enough discounted incubators to last quite a while when they were on sale. (Only get coins from gyms.)
it depends how fast you run through them, but the returns on pokemon leveling up after L30 is about half. So if your mon was getting +50 cp in the 20-30range, they'll only get 25 cp in the 30-40 range. Still something, but not as significant.
i still have 3 lucky eggs and do mass evolutions when I have enough, but it doesn't quite warrant me buying the 25 pack eggs.
Right now, I'd do bags and space, then incubators.
Lucky eggs still important IMO, sometimes i go for a 8 pack, but i try to focus on incubators and pokeballs. I am level 34 with 600/700 Pokémon/Item storage capacity and for me its enough for now.
*Pokeballs: in my town we have 3 PokéStops (not together) so you cant get balls enough only farming unless you play all time.
Here is how I rank them: 1. Bag Space 2. Pokemon Space 3. Incubators ( the faster you are able to get through eggs the better) 4. Lucky Eggs 5. Incense (I have a few saved up if I'm bored at a doctors appointment) 5. Lures (spoofers occasionally treat us fair players to them lol) 6. Eggs ( I don't really care about leveling up fast. It's more important to have high IV Pokemon to power up past 3k. You won't catch up to hardcore players who are level 37+, because you won't have the time & resources)
after level 30 between those two i would go for incubators, more candy and pokemon farm, then i would be saving all the pokemons which are good ivs and get space if i cant hold more, same if iam having trouble keeping items
then i will buy a lucky egg and evolve the pokemons saved with the good ivs hoping for good movesets, if it get bad moveset i would just throw it away and continue the cycle
lol
It depends on your situation, I have visited other towns around me (like 10km away on a radius), to explore them, see the kind of mon they spawn and tried to stick some of my better defenders on them, thanks to that since beggining of the year I can get 80-100 coins every day, dependind if the gyms in my town are stable or not that day.
So as a result of that I will get a bulk of 25 lucky eggs during the next double xp event, I have maxed out bag space but mon space at 750 (more than enough for me) and I am just saving now for an incubator run, I only do incubators when I get 7+ 10km eggs (have 6 at this point) or there is an event coming, I feel it is pretty useless to buy incubators just to hatch 2k or 5k if it is not during an event.
The order of buying things for me has always been:
1- Bag Space
2- Incubators
3- Lucky Eggs
4- Mon Space
I don't ever buy anything else, lures and incenses are 100% useless, with the exception probably of the 6 hours ones, but I used the ones I had from leveling up during that event.
Incubators definitely. High IV chance, crapload of candies and dust - things that I really need. Don't remember the last time I had a "pidgey party" using a lucky egg for double XP. Don't have room for a bunch of useless birds in my maxed out bag. I'm a hoarder and now and then I have to get rid of some mons from my 1000 capacity bag
Also, I spend on my wardrobe. :)
I think mass evolves are a buzz kill. Its really boring to spend half an hour watching animations of pidgeys evolving. So, I still have a couple lucky eggs I got from leveling up a few levels back. When my bag gets full, it crosses my mind to toss them, but I haven't, yet.
After level 30, I haven't been in a hurry to level up further, but it sort of happens as a side-effect of playing the game regularly.
When gen 2 came out I used one of the three lucky eggs from leveling up while I evolved a bunch of eevees I'd saved up, but I only got one each of espeon and umbreon, then found out the reason why later. I did get a nice distribution of various CP vapereons, and a flareon with overheat, but that wasn't my goal at the time. If I hadn't had the egg going, I probably would have stopped before I used up all my high IV eevee fodder.
I do spend coins on incubators and have increased both poke storage and bag space, but not maxed out. The hatching of eggs is a good way to get dust, but I've kind of restored my dust bank from the power up party I had at reaching level 30, and every time I hatch an ekans or a paras, or something like that, I kick myself for spending coins on the incubator. But, when I get a larvitar or dratini, I congradulate myself on my cleverness.
Fairly early on, I decided that incense, lures and pokeballs were a waste of coins.
I'd touch up my avatar, if it didn't cost coins.
Personally, I have been trying to level up a bit past 30 since I still have a need to level my mon past 3k cp. Competition is really fierce in my area. Sub-3k mon simply cannot go higher than 8th - 9th place and thus get shaved off from gyms very fast. This means that lucky egg can still be relevant.
For me, L30 is the actual start of the game, you are not even 10% in the progress towards L40. So I will just talk about how I spend the coins from gyms as I buy them with real money too. Bag and storage upgrade are top on my priority, as they are cheap and important. (For those coin bought by real money, I would only buy lucky eggs or incubators.
