Confusion exeggutor is the hardest mon to prestige against

Obviously after blissey. I know some people would say zh/bs snorlax is the hardest but I respectfully disagree. I have fought confusion exeggutors and he is a beast. I'll tell u why:
1) Low max cp so he is guaranteed to be in the bottom 3 pokes. Comparatively u have very little chance to go up against snorlax. Even if u do u can avoid him.
2) Confusion has incredibly high damage, very high EPS, as well as slow attack speed which makes it perfect for a defender. U can not afford to take even 1 confusion attack.
3) Due to confusions high EPS it fires solar beam very quickly and even if dodge it u get hit a lot due to the recent buff of SB.
4) Last and the best is that there is no freaking flash for the second confusion of the initial 2 attacks so u r guaranteed to have ur prestigers health reduced significantly from the off.
5) I tried wigglytuff (FA/HB), Ninetales, flareon, vaporeon, parasect but no one can take it down single handedly. I don't have a umbreon or houndoom so can someone try with those and post here. Also espeon with confusion is also hard to prestige against.
Note: I used half cp prestigers(1000 prestige) as well as 700 prestigers.
Edit: Thank you for yr replies. I tried butterfree and beedrill but to no use. I think scyther has way too low HP to work. I know I can evolve umbreon using name trick but haven't got a 500-520 eevee yet. And no metal coat for a scixor.

Scizor and especially Umbreon work just fine,
but I have to admit I never go for the full 1000 prestige, I usually use 1400-1500 CP prestigers vs 2500+ defenders

Pinsir can crush exeggutors with double bug moveset; dobule SE. combined with resisting Grass moves and a good attack value of 238 and easy to get.

Scizor if you have enough resources

Pinsir is the way to go. Scyther could also be good for prestige. Also, bug moves like fury cutter and XScissor are very good, so dodging is easier.

I do not agree with point 4, I see the f#$@*' flash, even if you do not see it, you know you have to swipe, I recommend you to be patient with this caind of battles, I mean, tap-tap-wait for the flash-dodge repeat, do not tap more than you need.

Many players have reported that there is no second flash for the initial 2 confusion attacks. I do not know if you have special confusion powers but take it from us mere mortals: the second flash is missing for us, which I found very confusing indeed. Umbreon does just fine but I was going in with a slightly overpowered one because it is the only one I have.

im using 1400cp wigglys with pound + play rough vs
2200 headbutt + seed bomb
2300 confusion + psychic
I havent had any problems so far
I dodge everything

I dont think FA/HB is good move set.
its way too slow for dodging

I would guess Lapras is the worst to prestige outside of Blissey due to even lower CP now than Eggs...It was the worst earlier due to their bulk (HP).

Scizor and Umbreon are both very effective against Egg. Neither are very common though, so getting them at the right CP for prestiging isn't terribly likely. Anything with double bug moves will generally do the job though. I was recently prestiging against a 19xxCP Egg and was able to consistently defeat it with a 949CP Ledian with Struggle Bug and Silver Wind. Granted I think it had ZH rather than C, but still, I was quite impressed.

Have a 907 CP Umbreon with Snarl/Foul Play. Very good to prestige against Exeggutor or Espeon.

Umbreon – name your Eevee "Tamao", an easy way without walking.

Vaporeon against Exeggutor is not as good as other fire Pokémon.

Very timely post! Last night I was prestiging level 9 to 10 with a 1600 team - after the first 2 vapes there was a monster Exegg 2500+ CP - I was foolishly concentrating on the treasure trove of Gyarados right behind it so brought only 1 fire and then Electric types - it hits like a mack truck! Gave me a new respect since I hadn't seen one in quite a while - dodged some of the confusion but those that hit just oblitered both my flareon (round 1) and then my fire Arcanine in round 2. Also I learned electric types have no business attacking Exegg..... After the humiliation I finally remembered I have 2 Scyther with double bug moves...

I'll have to try my lazy man's 1000 prestiger - Pound/Beam Chansey on one of these when I get the chance. She's at 1079 CP and can beat up to a 2450 Vaporean. With typing she loses to Rhydon, and she times out against Snorlax, but everything else is fair game.

The idea is that you dodge nothing and soak up the damage to charge the Hyperbeam.

When I dodge the first attack, I just keep dodging until the second is dodged.

For all defenders, the second attack starts about 1s (don't know exact timing) after the beginning of the first attack. The problem you are experiencing with Confusion (and maybe experienced with the pre-Gen2 update Bubble) is that the second attack actually starts while the defender is only half way through the first attack.

Treat your dodges for the first two attacks the same as the dodges for the first two attacks of any other defender.
