Blissey and more blissey
Don't know if you encounter the same problem, but in my city gyms are more and more colored in pink. I can see 7 gyms from my office. 6 are level 4 or 5 and are exclusively defended by Blissey's. Only one gym, level 7 has "only" 4 blissey's but they are all in front...
Niantic must find a solution for this. Too many players are using fake gps apps to "walk" 50km every day and to generate 10+ candies per day... In a few weeks Blissey will be everywhere and at impossible CP levels.
A few ideas (not one is good, it will always penalize someone who is playing correctly the game)
limited the number of blisseys per account
Don't allow blissey as buddy
Allow max 1 candie per day from your buddy
Better software control of accounts walking 10 hours non stop at 8km/h in a straight line through buildings, mountains, sees...
Make blissey less powerful. Difference with other defenders is too large
Allow only 1 Mons of the same kind per gym (this idea came already several time and will definitely increase the pleasure and the strategy)

I can of course, but it is quickly boring, you fight always against the same defender... where is the pleasure ??? Why dodging, boom boom boom, with your 2 eyes looking the clock...
And if you win what do you do.... ? You place your blissey like all the other... why placing another ? Tell me ? All sites like GP have ranked blissey miles away from any other defender, no matter the move sets.
Lol not everyone is a lvl 39 or a frequent player such as yourself. It's pretty hilarious how walled off lower level players are. I don't see a tower of them as a challange having several Dragonites w/DB, 3 FS/OH, 3 E/OH, Machamps w/ counter, and etc, but it's pretty funny how inconsiderate of low level players high level players and Niantic is. I just hope this new gym system incorporates them to be more active.
I'm pretty sure blissey will get significantly nerfed very soon. She's too much of an outlier
Of course every time they do it I feel like I had just bought a new car or truck that I was really enjoying and took it in for a tune up. Then the service man returns it and says he decided to put on rock wheels and pedals. But I can still admire it in my garage
Me quitting the game ??? Never ! I love it too much. And I will continue to participate to the different silph road samples to improve the game. No worry my friend. In max 3 months everything will again go up and down with the upcoming new releases. Blissey is good today, tomorrow other will take her place. Was just asking if you encounter the same trend in your city...
I'm dealing with 10+ Blisseys every day. My area is quite competitive. Limited gyms + bunch of spoofers.
Do I have the same feeling as you? Of course! That pink nurse is a curse. Kills my mons every time.
But I also have my own Blissey and I don't want her to be nerfed, especially after witnessing some players fail to beat her in time, so...
You see, in the end, what we want is to increase the gap between hardcore players (like us) and casual players. If what it takes is to endure the boredness of fighting Blissey, I'd pay the price.
Not so much around my area - many gyms have NO Blissey but she is starting to creep in here or there. Didn't see a single one in the wild even during Valentines, so I'm lucky to have 1 bliss with great IV (15 attack), but got Pound/Psychic - have a slightly weaker IV Chancey but at this rate of walking will take forever to A) evolve and then B) power up to decent level. I sure hope Niantic does NOT nerf her.
I am however, in strong favor of 1 PKM species per gym - that would be sufficient IMO to avoid OP pkm taking over the world, and would make the meta game WAY more interesting/strategic IMO.
The idea of allowing one type per gym is so brilliant. It would require all of us to focus on a well rounded team...and would bring lower tier or lower CP defenders into play. My high IV, perfect moveset defending Pokémon that never get used (2500cp Exe, 2200 Poliwrath, 2300cp slowbro, etc) might get used. Would also make it less of a race to high CP and more focus on having good defenders.
Just because someone has a Blissey or 5 doesn't mean they are a spoofer or cheat.
Seriously, it is pathetic how many people call 'cheat' when they are jealous someone else has something they don't.
I have 3 max'd Blissey, 2 more waiting for stardust, and still sitting on nearly 800 candy...with half a dozen candidates for evolution.
...but hey, I am less than 10kms from finally getting my first ever dragonite, after walking it nearly 400kms in about 6 weeks.
I have Blisseys...I put them everywhere...it doesn't make me a cheat.
I know my friend... that's why not 1 idea is a good idea...
I am not jealous, I have also my 3 blisseys after the valentine chancey's festival.
Many have worked hard for their mons like you and me.
But soon or later hard core players will have to accept some concessions to block the cheaters and to allow more casual players in the game.
Not too long ago Niantic had that event where Chanseys were popping up much more frequently. I love fighting Blissey's. Finally there's a defender that's a real challenge. It was boring always fighting Snorlax, Dnites, Gyarados, Vaporeons and Rhydons in every gym before Gen 2 release. I hope more tough defenders are released.
All defenders were already nerfed after quick moves were made fast again...
and low level Blissey's aren't that much of a threat of timeout...
Yes, that 3000CP Blissey will be tough, but I'm also glad they made the game harder honestly...
This casual game is too easy as it is already and low level 20s should just team up attacking a Blissey. Gyms are insanely easy already since it's all about time wasted vs. any skill anyways.
If people want to build a level 10 tower with all 3000CP Blisseys, just avoid the gym and build your own Blissey tower...
The Valentines day event gave everyone a Blissey (I got over 500+ candies myself due to Halloween double candies and 2 hatches earlier as well as walking 200km) and I deal with them every single day and sometimes, 4 or 5 so just roll with the changes and if you don't want to waste time, just move on.
All your restrict ideas are bad I think.
