So who still doesn't have a Snorlax, Lapras or Dragonite?
Level 28
•Still haven't seen (besides gyms) or hatched a snorlax
•I've hatched a Lapras and caught 1
•Evolved a Dragonite just to get SW/HB (FML right?) and caught 0
Mainly posted this just to see if anyone else is in the same boat as myself and if you aren't where would be the best places to look (specifically snorlax and dragonite.) I know certain biomes spawn certain Pokémon, just not sure if dragonite and snorlax spawn at a specific biome or random even though after reading posts I'm leaning more with random. If anyone has feedback it would be appreciated.
P.s - I decided not to put gen 2 with the list since it's too early to tell who actually got there Pokémon legit or not even if you did just get really lucky Rng hatching eggs etc.

Level 33 (100k road to 34) from Olímpia, SP, Brazil.
Snorlax: caught like 15~20 and hatched one. Powered up two: L/BS 82.2% and ZH/BS 93.3%.
Lapras: hatched 3, never seen in the wild. Powered up one IS/B 82.2%.
Dragonite: caught like 15 and evolved two. Powered up three: DB/DC 93.3%, DB/DP 91.1% and SW/DC 77.8%.
The difference there is I got them legit and not spoofing like that person probably did.. Maybe I'm wrong or maybe I'm right and the post was meant for people that were in the same boat or that actually wanna give helpful feedback on locations and tips where to find these Pokémon, not brag you have a Pokémon I don't have.
What person u mean are spoofer? all my caughts are here in my city, i could show you one by one hehe.
There are many legit players with muuch more Snorlaxes/Nites/Laprases than this. As you can read, i never seen a Lapras in the wild, got luck with eggs to hatch them and thx to the coins that i used to buy incubators a lot.
- I'm no child. 2. I did say maybe I'm wrong or maybe I'm right.. 3. You edit your post after you clearly were in the wrong. 4. Why you getting so defensive over me calling you a spoofer? 5. The post was like I said for people that are in the same boat and that actually have helpful feedback not just to brag you have 15 snorlax'.
Yea, firstly i use a translator, english isnt my main language, so later i try to turn the text better and learn more english hehe.
"Why you getting so defensive over me calling you a spoofer?"
- thats stupid call everyone spoofer cuz have mon that you havent. Why you getting agressive calling other player spoofer? its the worst insult for a honest player who spend money in the game.
"The post was like I said for people that are in the same boat and that actually have helpful feedback not just to brag you have 15 snorlax'."
- i never seen a Lapras in the wild, so thats why im here. Tried to show here Snorlaxes and Nites are common, but Lapras never spawned.
Ok sorry for the misunderstanding just the way you said that comment to that other person before you edited it made it sound like I posted this topic to brag I have 2 Lapras or something along those lines.. Also I'm not calling everyone a spoofer that has a mon I don't have. It just would make sense that someone with 15-20 snorlax could only catch that many by spoofing (unless your in Japan for the event.) But if your saying those are all legit catches then your rng lucky
Sorry for my english, thats why i try to fix my texts. I play PoGo since it was launched in Brazil, and few months ago Snorlaxes and Dragonites were not rare here (they was spawning almost every day). We have a Whatsapp group where all trainers help with advices when some Snorlax or Dragonite spawns so it makes a big differente for us here since is a small city with like 50000hab only.
But to be honest, after the two last updates, i never seen another Snorlax or Dragonite in the wild here. Trust me, there are many honest high level players who caught more than 50 snorlaxes etc. I wish u luck, cheers.
Snorlax is in grass biomes, the two spots I find him in usually share a spawn with scyther/bellsprout/nidoran. I haven't been there since gen2, spent a lot of time there during summer. Had awesome luck.
My home is in a dragonite biome. It was clefairy/zubat/jiggly. Since gen2 it is gligar/clefairy/phanpy. Just to give you an idea.
I've only evolved one dragonite, and have catched 4 wild ones, they spawn in the small city where I'm from (not living there anymore, but my parents and girldfriend do), It's a pretty warm place, with many hills and creeks, common spawn besides Pidgey, ratata and bugs, are Clefairy, Zubat, some grasses (Odish, bellsprout, bulbasaur and now chikorita) and waters (Staryu, Magikarp, Squirtle and now Totodile).
I've caugh 3 snorlax, mainly in habitational areas, I've only hatched 1 lapras so I can't give you any feedback on that one.
I've been playing since July and just hit lvl 30 a week ago.
I've been pretty lucky in the Lapras department - caught 2, hatched 2. (Interestingly I caught both in the exact same spot, weeks apart)
I only ever saw and caught 1 Snorlax at lvl 5 or 6 or so (about 500 CP). This is now my long term project.
No Dragonite. I'm about 45 away from evolving one.
And one perfect IV Pokémon so far: a jigglypuff
I got 1 Lapras - walked 250km with that bad boy to keep him maxed. He still rips dragonites limb-from-limb, even post nerf. But now it's not as hard to do that, since there is cloyster, jynx, and piloswine, and they can all get the job done.
I've caught a trio of 'laxs. They come from "generic" spawn points, but the better ones. You know, when you find a spawn point that spawns junk like pidgies and rats and stuff, but seems to have better stuff than just the middles of parkinglots and stuff. That's where all mine have been - one came from a spot that's usually trash, but occasionally jigglies and the like. Other one came from a bus terminal that used to generally spawn a lot of semi-interesting stuff that didn't seem specific to any biome. And the other one was a parking lot, the one spot within it that sometimes spawns evolved trash and jigglies in addition to the normal trash.
Dragonites - you're unlikely to catch one, just gotta hang out around water biomes to catch the dratinis. My friend who's hardcore has 2 evolves and one catch. I've got candies for one that I'll evolve next time I'm doing evo runs - finally. And I live next to a river!
Generally I think people overstate the availability of good attackers in particular. I only now (played since august) got the candies for my first machamp, and still have a few gen1 mons that I'm only like half way to evolving - all gym relevant ones too, natch. Gen 2 made it significantly easier though, since you can use pineapples to get candies you need faster.
1 Snorlax from egg. Long time ago. IV is decent but could have been worse. At least it has Body Slam.
1 Snorlax caught wild. Bad IV and very small CP. Sucks, overall.
3 Laprases from the eggs. Got my first Lapras (very bad IV) from the egg in 5-6 months after the release of the game. Then I got next Lapras quite soon. And just today I got my 3rd Lapras, with same moveset as 1st one, Frost Breath and Blizzard, but a lot better IV (93.3%)
2 Dragonites. 1 Dratini hatched from the egg (IV 88.9% if I recall right), made him as a buddy. Evolved him to Dragonite, got Dragon Breath and Dragon Claw. 2nd Dratini I caught (IV 93.3% if I recall right), evolved him soon and got Steel Wing and Dragon Pulse. I'm fine with them.
But I got good Dratini a lot earlier than Lapras for the first time. So Lapras was the pain, but I am not so excited about him/her anymore...I love Dragonite.
Almost level 34 here.
I´ve hatched 3 Lapras, non in the wild.
3 hatched Sonrlax and got 17 in the wild!
My biome includes: Geodude, Paras, Mankey, Growlith, Cubone, Ekans, Sandshrew, Ponyta and Doduo.
Less common but you still can get a couple in one day if you really want: Vulpix, Rhyhorn, Charmander.
Common pokemon that don´t spawn for me: Caterpie, Weedle, Meowth, Machop (and all the water pokemons).
1 hatched Dratini, not good IV´s. I´m still waiting for my first Dragonite.
Level 33 no Lapras here. No Dragonite either. I've walked my dratiniti A TON and I still have more to go. Managed to hatch one from an egg. But they are super rare. No idea how so many people here have Dragonites since dratini don't exist.
Snorlax - look for them in grass type biomes in residential areas. That is where I have caught my 2. Granted they weren't good but that is where I found them. Managed to hatch 3 others.
Other than regionals, Lapras and Dragonite are the only ones left for me from Gen 1. Dragonite will come after another 100km or so. But who knows on Lapras.
Lvl32
Hatched 3 Lapras
Got my Snorlax
Caught 4 dratini, hatched 1 - walked 340+ kms with a dratinin for candy...and only need 5 more candy for my first ever Dragonite.
Dratini seem to spawn more at coastal areas, but I have not located a 'reliable' spawn...and haven't got the time to spend day after day walking along the beach...I wish I did.
Two snorlax, one wild caught, CP 95x, Lick/BodySlam, one hatched, Lick/Earthquake, CP 25xx. Opposite genders (I'm speculating that eventually we'll be able to breed them, ....)
Two Lapras, both hatched. CP22xx, IceShard/Blizzard, strong IVs, CP1600, IceShard/DragonPulse, 13/14/15. Both hatched during double candy events. But now I'm walking with Blissey to get her up.
Dragonite, wild caught in my driveway, CP 342, IVs 0/1/3. Pretty much a joke, except that he fills out my pokedex. Still don't have Dragonair, but could evolve a Dratini (maybe 35 candy). Saving the joke because he'd be good buddy pokemon (as good as Dratini, I suppose.)
So I suppose I don't really have a Dragonite. But I like my Blisseys just fine. And both Scizor and Steelix are just a few finds away.
Cheers
