You have to allow PoGo access to your camera in application settings in your system settings. Then open PoGo back up and encounter a mon. It automatically forces AR mode, but you can hit the switch in the top-right corner to turn it off. After you turn it off, you can deny PoGo access to your camera, but if you logout of PoGo, you will have to re-allow access to your camera and repeat the process.

Every time i try to catch a mon pogo stop
working and i have to start again. The rest of the game is just fine. Do you have some ideas what i can do? Tryed to download again but it does not work.

I never had an issue before either.. until gen2 update. I eventually realized it was trying access my camera and couldn't handle not having access, I guess they changed something in the gen2 update with encountering mons, it used to just do blank white background but now just crashes
