First trip into a completely different biome.
Live in the Midwest US and am currently vacationing in Florida. Caught 2 Heracross, 3 Totodile, 2 Dratini and a Corsala. (I didn't even know that existed) This is without even looking for pokes, I'm going to have spend a day down here poking and if I don't leave with a Feralgatr, a Dragonite, and another Gyarados I'll be surprised. These guys so hard to come by back home!

Thank you for posting your experience and proving a point that I was trying to make a while back!
To play the game, trainers MUST travel. They cannot expect to stay in the middle of nowhere an have the same experience as someone playing in a major city.
A little trip to florida and you managed to rake in lots of monsters that were rare or hard to come by in your area with ease. I say get out there and explore and catch them all!! Get your regional Heracross and Corsala!! and have fun doing it.
