Just hatched a Lapras with Frost Breath and Blizzard. I know after nerd he will not sit high in gym. Lvl 20. How high should I boost him CP wise. Sitting at 1465 now. Already have avalanche Piloswine and Cloister.

If you already have high-ish CP ice attackers, you can leave this to prestige against ~2900+ Dragonites.

Yes, definitely leave as is for now... Niantic is planning on rehauling the gym system this year apparently so I'm hopeful strong defenders with low CPs may be relevant. If that's the case, then invest in the Lapras.

Well, i have a 1909 Lapras with FB/IB and it can beat 2 Dragonite with 3100 CP, just dodging HB (DC/DR doesn't hurt enough)

wow 1465, that must be around iv 89 - 91, since mine is 1457 with 86.7 iv

Or it could be less, or the same with a more effective stat distribution.

A higher IV% doesn't guarantee a higher CP...and vice versa
IV as a %, does not give the full story.

Cmon, what we are talking about, even before last nerf it was almost impossible to put one in gym. Now it is something like slowbro
