Hypothetical trade value of ZH-BS Snorlax

Hello there fellow pokemon nerds!

I just wanted to post this topic to pose the question to those of you lucky enough to have obtained the legacy ZH-BS Snorlax prior to Gen2 update:

What would you need in return for one of these guys when trading is implemented? I've got some extra DB-DC Dragons, a couple shadow Claw Gengars, and various 100% IV mons I'd be willing to trade. Just wondering if I've got the goods to make it happen.

I have only one ZH-BS hatched, 93.3% Ivs and maxed out to 3075CP...no chance to trade him haha. But i have a Lick-BS 42% ivs (14A) who i could trade. For now and considering legacy moves, i remember have these Pokémon to trade:

1 L/BS Snorlax;
2 DB/DP Dragonites;
2 SW/DP Dragonites;
2 IS/DP Laprases;
2 C/P Exeggutors;
and other interesting mon...

Some of these legacy are interesting??.

I think a db/dc Dragonite would be a great trade. What kind of IVs would you like to get? I've got 2 zh/bs snorlax at lvl 30, cp2812 80% and 2862 96%. Would the 80% be too low? Not sure I could part with the 96

Fun question

I've got a DB-DC Dragonite 78% (15-9-11) at level 24 with 2396 CP. I would probably trade that for the 80% Snorlax, provided the Attack IV isn't too low.

I would probably trade an 89% (15-10-15) fully maxed out 3490+ CP Breath/Claw Dragonite for a 96% ZH-BS Snorlax.

When the time comes I would happily make that trade with you.

would you accept a db/hyper beam nite 95.6%iv cp 3000+ for your 96%bs Lax? :)

I have a legacy ZH-BS Snorlax that his sole purpose is trading for a DB-DC Dragonite.

I can't wait for trading to be implemented just to try to get my Dragonite

keep me in mind lol -- I've got several quality IV DB-DC Dragonites that I wouldn't mind parting with for legacy ZH-BS Snorlax.

Trading will be implemented but it will be with proximity trainers. Unfortunately it can't be made "online"

So it will only really help cheaters who spoof their locations or log ins? Great.

I have two ZH/BS...one I'm keeping for sure, but I'd trade for Dnite DB/DC and Blissey ZH/DG

Lucky enough to have 4 of those bad boys. I'd be willing to trade for defense Lapras or very good Muk.

I have quite a few legacy BS snorlax and wont trade them for anything other than another legacy pokemon. I also have a few 100% IV pokemon and refuse to trade them unless I receive another 100% IV pokemon.

For instance, I would trade a legacy ZH/BS Snorlax defender for a legacy DB/HP Gyrados attacker any day.

Ooh, I've got a 93% DB-HP Gyarados I would definitely trade for a ZH-BS. What have you got in that IV range?

I only keep 80% IV and higher pokemon. All other are turned into sweet sweet candy :)

CP is another factor here too. Imagine someone trading a Level 1 100% IV pokemon lol

Yes. All pokemon with movesets no longer obtainable are considered legacy

can i trade you one for bs snorlax? lol

i sense that most ppl are only willing to trade their zh/bs Snorlax if they are guaranteed a db/dc nite in return. Nites with Pulse and Hyperbeam.......no love

well, pulse on attack isn't that great. it feels weak somehow. But I wouldn't trade my Dnite SW/DP ever...well, for a better IV one maybe :-D

Hey there! I actually offered mine in another post... I have two: one at 84, level 20 or so and one at 89 level 17 or so... would trade either one and throw in 50 candies of worth of power up before sending over (stardust included, of course) . In return, I would ask for 84+ DB/dc at any level (500 dratini candies and 1million plus stardust... grandma made a huge pot of pasta and wants hungry boys and girls to eat!)

Buuuuuutttt... isn't this all a pipe dream? I'd give you one of them and throw in a lick /bs at 89 for that big DB/D.C and whatever else you wanted to plunder from me.... BUT no idea if we can do online or has to be done locally or if it will even happen before we even remember this game exists...

I could probably be persuaded to ship that 89 Dragonite for a couple Snorlax :)

Ugh! I would do that in a heartbeat!! I'd even throw in all 145 snorlax candies to power them up! Wish this wasn't all a pipe dream , though....

Folks, keep in mind that trading will be limited to local only such as Pokestop range and gym battling range, so don't get too optimistic.

I'm not so sure about the PvP and trading being "Local" only ... I would imagine that being able to battle opponents at great distances, as well as trade pokemon with them, would be a major feature of the game.

I guess we'll find out at some point :)

Why BS is so important? Isn't Hyper Beam better because of its DPS?

Up

No. It's not even close. Fight one, a BS Snorlax is way worse. Anyone can dodge hyper beam

Up

BS is very important for a Snorlax defender.

Think about it, would you rather battle a BS Snorlax or a HB Snorlax? A trainer can easily dodge a HB, but when the Snorlax AI starts to BS which can be sometimes 4 times in a row without warning, at least 1 will hit the attacker and the charge bar builds fast.

IMO with Machamp buff it is only important to have ZH. Can't wait when my C/DP one will be powered to lvl30, even now at level 20something it crashes snorlaxes insanely fast.

If I had more than one, I could persuaded to part with it for a legacy gyrados, dragonite, or Omastar+sugar. Since I only have one, it's not for sale.

I like this post and am also curious about the value of legacy Pokemon among legit players. Everyone seems to be really hype about the idea of trading. My problem with the whole thing is how it will be implemented and knowing whether or not the person you're trading with has cheated. I'm sure none of you that put in time want to trade your valuable pokemon with someone that got theirs with little effort. I would have a hard time trading with anyone I didn't know. There are many people on this site that are legit and would be great to trade with I'm sure, and a great place to start. I guess I'm bringing about the question, would you risk the possibility you're trading
with a spoofer/cheater to get the pokemon you want?

I don't really care how they got it... it's not like it's a fake handbag... it does all the things it's supposed to do. How others play the game is of no concern to me... it does have its effects, I admit (gym spoofing, suddenly having to face down a 3000 cp tyranitaur not one week after gen 2 release) but the Pokémon looks and performs identically to my legit mons (actually much better since I am looking for the DB/ dc that I could not roll prior to update) so, no, I don't care...

I have 3 lol 2 are level 1 or 2. Both are 80+ IVs sadly level 1, but whatever candy was candy. One is idk around 27 bad IVs. 2 extra ZH/HB (ZH/HB around level 3?) I'd only trade Snorlax for Larvitar, Pupitar, low level Tyranitar( bad IVs are ok), Lapras, and Ms/Eq Golem or Rhydon.

Up

I'm sure I could rustle something up when trading is implemented. What kind of IVs Tyranitar would you be looking for one of those low level 80+ IV Zen-Body Slam Snorlax?

Ur mad bro. The value in those ZH/BS is huge even though they level 1/2. Can always get more stardust, might not ever be able to get more ZH/BS Snorlies.
