Bad moveset? worth some dust?. I evolved one with 2156CP and 95.6% ivs and already have a 100% ZH-SoB maxed out (34.5).
I wouldn't, TreeHead isn't the best defender, and if used, Confusion is a must and as an attacker you really need Extrasensory/Solar Beam (which isn't worth the dust either if you already have a Z/SB), unless you want a pure grass attack one with the other new attack.
Sad story, one my only 100 IV mons and I'd power him up if I saw value even at low level, while useful, just not worth it!
Very useful, I wouldn't even invest in one with Extrasensory/SB with that mon in your stable even though it slightly better. I am intrigued about the pure grass with Solar Beam version since I mainly use against Vaporeon, I can check all the spread sheets in the world, but I really don't know if I like a mon or not till I battle with it and don't have one of those... I'd like to try one out.
It's a lot, but chasing dust while chasing buddy candies give me something to do. Eggys aren't super common around here other than Valentines. Obviously if it didn't get the double grass moves I wouldn't power it up. Have every other relevant moveset, still no? I got plenty of candies to try and fail.
I have lots of Eggs due to having a nest here a while back. First thing, ZH/Seed Bomb is a very good moveset! Before the Gen2 release, it was my go-to attacker against Water Pulse Vapes which were so annoying. Using Seed Bomb is great because it's flexible and you didn't have to take a WP to the face. Now though, WP has been nerfed and so I don't use my ZH/SeB as much. It's still a really fun set though.
On the new moves, Bullet Seed/Solar Beam is really nice, no doubt. It's great against Vapes and Rhydon, but all things considered I still like VW/SoB Venusaur better because VW is much faster than BS. But having a double grass Eggy is great. That said...
I think Extrasensory/SoB Eggy is just killer. The reason is, if you are facing Vape and Rhydon back to back then double grass is great. But E/SoB is just as good against Vape/Rhy, but then also can really put a dent in Snorlax and Blissey too. I don't know the numbers on it but E is just really good and it's nice to let a Solar Beam go on the big tank defenders. If Blissey is next to a Vape or Rhydon (as in always), then the E/SoB can get you part of the way home on the second battle.
