Blissey, Snorlax...

So...I just ecolved my first Blissey and it got ZH/DG. In the first moment I thought it wasn't that good because I really wanted Pound as a quick move. Now after reading through some sites I'm actually pretty excited. What are your thoughts about that moveset? Would you power her up?

With 78% IV she will be at 2700 at lvl 30 and 2768 at lvl 31,5 (that's where I normaly stop). Now another question is if you would power her further up to get a top notch defender. I have enough candy for lvl 31,5 but after that would have to walk. I'm in a similar situation with Snorlax...lvl 31,5 ZB/BS standing at 2875 CP and 37 candy...power up further? Snorlax and Blissey really are the only ones I consider maxing out. I got Dragonites with SW which I use defensively, but I think they are to easy to counter, so it doesn't really make any diffenrence if they are at 3100 or 3200 CP. Opinions?

Tripping over a Chansey or 2, every couple of hundred metres was the easy part.
The skill was in not collapsing of heat exhaustion in the 40c degrees heatwave we had the week of the event.

Yup...my area was flooded with Chansey.
So at least I got to walk a dratini a lot for dbl candy during the event as I collected them, so my first Dragonite is closer than ever.
Only about 80kms left now.

Power her up all the way. She is one hot nursemaid.

Me too, Snorlax and Blissey are my top choices for defenders. However I do have a couple of 3k+ Dragonites because in my area, sub-3k gets you 8th, 9th or 10th spot.

I would max out both completely but I have other high CP mons to sit high enough in gyms that I'm fine as I work up to it. I think this is the question for you too. Both will be outstanding defenders as things currently are. IMO the two best defenders in the game right now.

I feel like the overlooked part of this question is the fact that you've got a legacy ZH-BS Snorlax ... What are the IVs on that bad boy?

He's at 76% IV 10/14/10 at 2875 CP lvl 31,5 at the moment. He's stuck in a gym atm, and the moment he comes out I will be able to power him over 3000 CP.

Blissey is at 78% 11/14/10 at 2746 CP lvl 31 and I'm walking her to max her out too.
