Best Attacker against Blissey

To pick your attacker, I have preared the chart below.

If you want to damage the Blissey as fast as possible (and it does not matter how long your attacking pokemon will survive), you want an attacker which is high on the left side of the chart:
Machamp, Heracross, Ursaring, Dragonite, Gengar, Flareon, Charizard.

If you want an attacker which makes a lot of damage during its whole life time (and it does not matter how long it takes to take down the Blissey), you want a attacking pokemon which is high on the right side of the chart:
Blissey, Donphan, Snorlax, Tyranitar, Lapras, Dragonite, Vaporeon.

You probably want an attacker which will be a good mix between damaging the Blissey quickly while not fainting too fast. You may then look at the middle of the chart:
Machamp, Heracross, Dragonite, Tyranitar, Ursaring, Charizard, Flareon.

Zaarkos, you should add to the graphic the most important things:
WHAT is shown on X and Y axis!

It is a little complex. Hence the explanation rather than the axis definition.

X axis: how much is tankiness (DefHP) taken in account in evaluating the attacker.
0: only DPS is taken in account
50 : DPSTankiness^0.5
100: DPS*Tankiness

Y axis: What is the value (in %) of the attacker compared to the best possible pokemon for a given X value.

So basically, for a given mon with fixed DPS against Blissey, fixed base stats DEF & STM,

y = (DPS * (DEF * STM) ^ x)%

Is that so?

My Favorite is Confusion/Solar Beam Exeggutor. Man what a beast. Might be my favorite attacking mon at this point - against anything. It totally destroys faces.

I also use Rhydons quite a bit.

Exeggcutor is good against the pouplar defender Rhydon but, according to this chart, it is not the best attacker agaisnt Blissey by any metrics.

This chart gives him Extrasensory rather than his legacy move Confusion.

Possible that Confusion performs better (although likely he isn't the strongest).

On a raw DPS chart done by Trainer Tips C/SB Exeggutor was top 10.

He also resists Psycic moves. He takes down Blisseys fast with lots of hps to spare.

He's a beast and by far my favorite mon to destroy Blisseys.

Extrasensory/Solar Beam Exeggcutor is number 9 on this chart for raw DPS (left side of the chart).

Confusion/Solar Beam Eceggcutor would be number 8 between the fire pokes and Tyranitar.

So this not inconsistent with Trainer Tips.

I've been using a ZH/SB Exeggcutor against Blisseys, CP2531, and it beats Blisseys in the CP2800-3000 range, albeit without much to spare. All the ones I've attacked have Hyperbeam, and I've dodged it, but otherwise just spam away.

For some reason I fail tot pick the best moveset for Exxegcutor. Confusion will make it 5% better.

Exeggcutor with Confusion would be at the level of Flareon in the middle of the chart.

He also resists attacks better. He eats up ZH attacks and if you miss a P dodge it isn't a big deal.

I think this chart is incorrect.

I normally use Rhydon with RS+EQ/SE or Vapeoreon with HP but they need to be almost on CP par to achieve this.

Enter my lvl 33 Executor with CF+SB! - Confusion does the highest quick damage and Solar Beam the most charge damage.

I have brought down 2900ish CP Blissey (dodging charges) with my 2600ish Exec with CF+SB -

Exec is my go to mon to solo high CP Blissey without fainting!

Blissey, lax and lapras could never defeat a blissey in only 100 seconds. And you probably forgot about alakazam, he is better then Gengar.

yes, against Blissey you need very fast attacker and you want to look more on the left side of the chart.

Alakazam is slightly slower than Gengar but slightly more tanky. Overall against Blissey they are similar and not the first choice.

Is this taking into account that Blissey resists Gengar's best moves? I'd assume you thought about that. Just checking.

He doesn't even have Rhydon on the chart.

It's a disaster.

Rhydon (Mud Slap/Stone Ege) would be below Lapras.
Similar to Laparas on the left side, similar to Heracross on the right side, similar to Ursaring in the middle.

Yes it does take in account the resistance of Blissey to ghost damages. That is why Gengar is not number 1 on the left of the chart.

Funny that you left out Espeon :D He lasts longer than Gengar and is resistant to ZH... Alakazam too, but less life. It would do better than e.g. Flareon in your chart, overall. Also legacies? my favourite DPS beast is legacy SC/SB Gengar ;)

Espeon would be just above Piloswine on the chart. Still quite below Flareon.

The choice of attackers (including Piloswine over Espeon) on the chart includes the value of attackning Pokemon against other Defender (Piloswine is high on the Dragonite chart while Espeon is never a top attacker).

no. maybe in your chart. but in reality, you underestimate 1. damage of the moves(?) 2. resists 3. DPE 4. dodging 5. great quick move Confusion :)

To directly combat Blissey/Chansey's super high HP stat, you need to counter with super high ATK stats. Simple as that, assuming one-on-one battling. That's Alakazam, Dragonite, Gengar, Espeon. And they must have optimal movesets to dish out max dps.

Smashing Blissey one-on-one depends upon the moveset it possesses. Not even big bulky mon's like to eat a Blissey Thunder Wave or Ice Beam. For example, The latter can freeze Rhydon to death and Psychic fries Gengar.

In most cases high IV/CP mons with Focus Punch can destroy Blissey. Likewise in most cases Explosion can nuke Blissey, but not Electrode's Explosion.

Fighting and Ground types do okay but in my book, until Zapdos comes into PoGo, Blissey's current number one counter is a max IV/CP Celebi, especially if you employ dodge.
