Zen-BS Snorlax

I battled a gym last night that gave me trouble for the first time in a long time. This gym was comprised of mostly average pokemon (2800+ CP vapes, Rhydon, Gyarados and Snorlax), but the top two spots were both insanely OP Snorlax. The first was 3330 CP Zen-BS, and the king spot was 3355 CP Zen-BS. Both of these mons used the "device glitch" to log into multiple devices to power up the Pokémon past level 39, because normally the max CP for Snorlax at 100IV and lvl 39 is 3307 CP.

I had a great time battling these beast legacy Snorlax with higher than average max CP. probably the hardest time I've had battling a gym opponent in months and months. Great stuff.

Anyone else ever battled a gym with pokemon that are above the max CP of level 39 pokemon?

Was prestiging this morning against a 3K snorlax with BS, took 3 PKM as BS kept hitting over and over and over... he beat 2 Lapras that were in the 1450 CP range (I was going for 1K prestige) ... sloppy dodging (I was in a hurry), but still .... the opposite of potion-efficient!

Nice. Now go battle a 1000 CP blissey and you will see what is hard :)

Prestiging would be difficult, but in an opposing gym a level 11~13 Blissey would not be hard to beat.

There was also the multitouch glitch earlier that would let you give your pokemon 2 or 3 powerups at a time by pressing the powerup button with 2 or 3 fingers accordingly. That's also a scenario where these Snorlaxes would be able to reach lvl 40.

Don't you have a full squad of 3500CP Dragonites? I can't ever imagine you having problems taking down a lvl 10 gym on your own.

It was troublesome, relatively speaking of course. I've only got one 3500 CP attacker with db-DC, all the rest are high 3400s

Since the changes when gen 2 arrived, I dodge even more than before, this Snorlax with ZH/BS is the perfect case, you need to dodge everything, in that way BS never hits you. You need to know how many moves you can make in-between attacks. I like to fight Snorlax with executors, specially with confution and solar beam, I hit only one time between Snorlax attacks, and it's perfect figth.
