Yesterday I sent an email to Niantic regarding possible hacking (inexplicable disappearance of my top cp Pokemon) at [email protected]. I deleted and reinstalled the app but nothing happened. Is there any chance to respond any time soon? Better yet, is there any chance to fix the problem?
Yes, they do - although this type of email may require more time to respond. If you favorite your mon, the chances of you transferring it are a lot slimmer.
I got a response within 12 hours - although my issue was that I accidentally purchased some pokeballs. They were able to revert the changes and get me my coins back.
Dang, wish I had known this! One time I had literally just finished deleting about 150-200 Pokeballs to free up bag space (was after a big level up). Put my phone in my pocket as I was walking so the egg distance would keep tracking. When I pulled my phone out (no joke) 5 minutes later my finger grabbed the wrong side of the screen and I caught the end of the message confirming I had bought 200 Pokeballs with 800 out of my last 900 coins. FML
I just had to laugh about it though b/c what were the odds? I had just deleted almost the exact # of balls. I felt like the game was just like "Nope, wrong move. Take em back"
Yes they do respond but as mentioned it depends on the query.
It took them 3 weeks to respond to my query about their server issues at the beginning of the game which affected some of my in app purchases, and even then I got a non-sense, fob you off response.
I eventually had to go to Apple to get a refund for the coins I had purchased, which Apple did without hesitation.
