Rainer or Pyro? 93% of perfection Eevee with 15/13/14 IV's? Who to evolve to?
I already have a "sparky" Jolteon but I can still use the name trick to evolve into Flareon or Vaporeon.
I found this near perfect Eevee and have enough candy to evolve but I cannot decide which to make it.

Flareon's Quick Move is only like 11 DPS but if I get lucky and get Flame Thrower that's a pretty decent Special with speed of only 2900ms that does 50 DMG and 22 DPS.

Actually, as Vaporeon is viewed as the better defender because it has drastically higher HP (and people are going by the graphic sum of its health), but both Jolteon and Flareon have higher attack and defense (Flareon statwise in fact cimpletely trumps Jolteon). Whether or not it is the better defender in the future could be changed by a variety of factors. What would be the biggest change I think is if Grass pokemon get some of the draining moves that they have in the games. For its weakness to Grass and its longevity being centered in its HP stat and not its defense stat, Vaporeon will lose out if they enter the game.
Now, if the pokemon had a high defense IV and a low HP IV I would have made it a Vaporeon. I probably would've made this Eevee a Flareon. However, its high attack IV is the most important contributor to CP, so the Vaporeon will compete well for the latter spots in a gym as a defender.
Really they were all good choices.
yeah i was leaning towards Flareon myself because it's 4th highest attack stat and the 15/15 IV of this particular Eevee.
I probably made the wrong choice but I feel like this Vaporeon is still a potent threat in my arsenal. And plenty good.
I might come across another good Eevee yet and I have yet to name/evolve one Pyro.
