Regional Pokemon travelling theory

So it might be possible to travel to (south) Florida, catch Heracross and Corsola there... then go a bit north until you reach Tauros spawn area? 3 regionals in 1 trip

Yeah, technically "Disneyland" is California and "Disney World" is Florida. If you want Heracross, and don't want to go to Mexico, get the right one. (Though I hear Cabo is beautiful if you can make it through Tijuana without running into trouble.)

I live in San Antonio, Texas, and you can catch a Tauros pretty easily. I've also caught a few Corsolas here. Corpus Christi is about a two-hour drive south of here, and that's a good place to catch Heracross.
