What if Niantic is working with the Spoofers in order for the rest of us to feel weak and underpowered so we spend money on coins to get stronger?
They give us the power to report them, but only to make us feel like we are doing something.
You know what's funny? I was just thinking the same thing that Niantic is behind the spoofed taking gyms. It's strange to me that the spoofers are always around LVL25 and seem to dominate areas where they are certain teams are underdogs.
And if they are using bots to level up how are they getting to such a high level without detection!

I'll avoid that little thumbs down only b/c your head is in the right place.
But Meow is right. Impossible to ignore them and impossible to enjoy the game when you're out in the pouring rain in 40 degree weather by the ocean on a peninsula with no one around and get sniped after spending 30 soaking wet minutes leveling a gym from 9 to 10.
That walk home, soaking wet, with 30 minutes of your life gone and absolutely zero to show for it is really disheartening. Really makes you think twice the next night when y ou're about to pick the game up and walk outside to do it all over again
