Foreign name tricks for Gen2 Eevee evolution?

RedMi is probably asking this because late last night I shared the story about how I found what I was told were names from foreign countries that could guarantee additional Vaporeon evolutions, even if you had already used "Rainer."
Those names are Aquana and Mizuki.
I know of 4 people, counting myself, who successfully evolved Vaporeon with those names, BUT since four people (eight evolutions total) is a pretty small sample size, it's not quite enough to call it confirmed that those names always work.
