I see posts about the tracker being broken, too many level 10 gyms, too many crap IV Pokemon spawning. These pics are life for rural players.

You see pokestops? Places to play? Gyms? Lures? See those little flat roads? Those are steep inclines impossible to walk. Feel like walking at night? No way! Pitch black no lights, mountain lion sightings, deer spotlighters, copperheads laying on the warm the pavement. Need balls? 800 coins again. Rural players need some love from niantic badly.

Anyone else dealing with this? Or have they all given up?

when I want to go bowling, I go into town, well when I want to play pokemon I go into town too.

Just say F it and use a gps hack, this game pretty much makes cheating a requirement to play the game properly.

Hah believe me I've thought about it just to get balls and items but I fear being banned. I was banned from dark souls for much much less(muling) so I don't want to cheat and lose my progress on here.

As long as your fairly sensible with it and dont travel too far too quickly you should be fine. If anything do it while you can before they do start getting stricter with it. ive abused it pretty hard as live in the country too, but no ban as yet.

I suspect many in my area do. I see level 32s in a gym down the road. I play a lot and am only 28. I don't see them being that far ahead of me and having multiple good snorlaxes in my area and never seeing those people at the ONLY pokestop area around.

Feel for you bro. I get that temptation, but look how far you've come without it. I give you major kudos for that. Still, I don't fault you for whatever you decide.

Nah I won't ever cheat. I just need daily ball login bonus and more spawns outside of cities though! Seems like an easy fix from niantic. Its a reasonable expectation that there would be a lot of Pokemon in the mountains/woods.

I feel for you people in the country. Game favors city people too much which doesnt make sense.

Oh my god. That's insane. I drive 20 mins one way to get to a group of pokestops that are relatively close. 40 mins of driving just for some eggs lol. No lures here ever.

Even the local college is just a gym. Not a single stop. There are miles and miles of nothing in some areas.

Yes I also live in a town that is mostly surrounded by agriculture, dairies and a river. There is only 8 gyms in our town and all the ones in the small downtown area have been at level 10 and red for months now, its very annoying! I have to use an incense to catch any Pokémon at all when I walk the dog in my neighborhood, and none of the ones that spawn are rare, they are all the same ones. I need to go play in the Bay Area to get better ones.

Ouch. I've used 100+ incense. I read you must travel at a correct speed for it to spawn Pokemon every minute, but that ruins the point for people who are stuck in one place! I wish it was fixed.
