How are you Preparing for Pokemon Day?

We have three days left until Niantic's next event. I'm guessing it will only last the day and am hoping for something big for that day rather than just Party hat Pikachus.

Hopefully they'll include another double xp event since one a year would be painful.

Is anyone preparing for the event? If so, how?

Well i am trying to catch every Pokémon i can. I hope they rlly include double XP or at least double dust.

Not really preparing but this time I'll do more my best to go out and catch Pikachu. I wasn't really giving too much value to the medals last time, but I do now.

Therefore I hope they'll increase the Pikachu spawn so I can waste all my ultra balls one more time.

I am gonna spend 27th packing bags and waiting at airports, I hope its not just one day

there was a recent post that dragonite spawns at airports so you may be in luck

The announcement I read said the special hats will last from Feb. 26th at 1 pm PST until March 6th at 1 PM PST.

I'm not doing anything to prepare, but am hoping for more than just the hats. I think there will be more to it.

I am hoping for increased items from pokestops (hoping for evolution items) and double stardust.

That is something for us, and lots of incubators used for stardust, so something for Niantic.

I don't ask for much...just my own personal wishes to be fulfilled.

I think the double item drops from pokestops was one of my fav events actually...nice to always have a full bag and can prioritize one item group over the other if needed (balls vs. potions/revives)...

Since I plan to do an evolve party this weekend, I assume there actually maybe double exp also just to screw me over like last time. :)

Pikachu in a hat is nothing to get too excited about unless it's one of those non la hats. (Rice-farmer Pikachu sounds strangely awesome.) I'm not going to make any big changes to my inventory, or pokemon just in case there is more.

Very few people are preparing for the announced party hat PIkachu, more preparing for speculative things that may be added to the event without prior announcement.
