Found out something cool about berries
Not a question just thought I would share this:
If you use a berry and your game freezes/phone craps out and you are able to get back into the game and engage the same mon’, the berry will still be applied. I don’t know if this was true before the update because now the berry symbol is above the mon’ but anyway it saved me a Pinap Berry on a Dragonair and I was pretty pissed as my phone froze because those berries are kind of rare. The CP of the pokemon is based on its level, which is randomly drawn based on specific player levels. That means every player at the same level will encounter the same level (and CP) on that specific pokemon.That also means you can re-roll the CP with one specific and hard-to-do trick: if you are almost leveling up and encountered that low-CP Dragonite, run away, get your level up, and then come back to that Dragonite. Its CP will change unless you are unlucky enough to find a pokemon that had the same level randomly selected on two levels in a row. PS: that won't work if you are already above level 30, as every 30+ player will see the same level/CP on every specific pokemon.
