Vileplume the newest top Grass DPS?
Seems like it would be. The highest DPS quick grass type move is Razor Leaf, and the for charge it's Petal Blizzard. I'm not sure how EPS factors into this, but Vileplume has the highest attack power out of any Pokemon that gets these moves. The only other contenders I can think of would be Victreebell (Razor Leaf+Solar Beam) or Exeggutor (Confusion+Solar Beam or Bullet Seed+Solar Beam). Thoughts?

Solar beam is better than petal blizzard, with this new update, since quick moves are much slower and charged moves are much more powerful, the dps of the charged move doesn't matter as much, it's all about the power relative to energy consumption, petal blizzard low power as an 1 bar attack is def not a good choice for a charged move, solar beam would def give your grass Pokémon a higher dps per cycle.
Did some simple calc, the best grass combo is razor leaf and solar beam, with dps per cycle 19.21 with stab, 2nd best seems to be razor leaf and leaf blade, you can get that with victreebell I think? 18.31 with stab, while razor leaf and petal blizzard is only at 17.25, you don't want that.
Didn't do any calc with bullet seed yet, doesn't seem that useful even thou it has the highest eps amount grass quick moves, dps is way too low.
It does seem like venasaur with razor leaf and solar beam would be the best grass Pokémon, bullet seed solar beam exeggutor might be close due to better overall stats, your next big grass pick should be razor leaf leaf blade victree.
EDIT: bullet seed and solar beam exeggutor has dps per cycle of 16.71 with stab, that's worse than razor leaf and petal blizzard.
So 16.71 exeggutor vs 19.21 venasaur, your choice, id say venasaur is the better choice. I'd take pure grass exeggutor over razor leaf leaf blade victree due to much higher stats.
After struggling to prestige against Vaporeon with my Parasects I whipped out my 1286 Acid/LB Victreebel and 1342 RL/PB Vileplume and I was definately surprised with how fast Victreebel took down that Vaporeon. Leaf Blade charges so quickly and packs a huge punch, so even with suboptimal Acid, it felt great.
My 96% Venusaur with VW/PB now feels extremely lackluster, so it will definately be replaced with something Solar Beam. For my prestige teams, I'm now hunting Bellsprouts like crazy. Leaf Blade is the way to go for prestiging.
