Best counter to Cleafable

Anyone have any good options to counter Cleafable? Due to its low max cp it can be underrated but she deals serious dmg to all pokemons i tried to kill her...

I'll second this. At least for Muk. He is tanky enough that the psychic attacks don't do much damage. He makes quick work of her. Before Muk, I just used a Pidgeot with steel wing/hurricane. That was quite effective also.

it can be up to above 2k cp, what make u think its low...and its on the tier list, how can you underrate it
you must be kidding right?

2.2k max cp is low when on lvl 28 i have 6 pokemon with over her max cp... the problem is that duet to her psychicznie moves poison Type Gets hard beating. I'm asking for pokemon with steel/ poison attacks that agent getting wrecked by psychic... Pidgeot with even lower cp?

Just tuff it out. Maybe you could wiggle your way by.

Wigglytuff with pound/hyper beam is a pretty good catch-all for a lot of types.

Against Cleffable with Zen Headbutt/Psychic, you might also try Exeggutor with Zen Headbutt/Solar Beam since you will at least have resistance to both its attacks.

I was going to say Exeggutor as well. Resist the psychic and have strong STAB moves yourself.

Slowbro (and other Water/Psychics) would be an alternative solution.

Basically I think the answer to Clefable is:
If she has psychic moves then resist them with a Psychic type, who is strong at offense (Exeggutor being the best bet).
If she has non-Psychic moves, beat her with poison (Muk or the Nidos most likely).

I'm sure there are better choices, but whenever I see Clefables (which is rare, since they do have low CP), I'll just use one of my strong attackers: Arcanine, Exeggutor, or especially Vaporeon. So long as I'm not at a type disadvantage, I don't feel the need to try to exploit every defender's weaknesses. Besides, I figure my 2400 CP Vaporeon will be as efficient as my 2100 CP Nidoqueen, with the added benefit that he will be useful against other mons in the gym too.

That is totally true, after all, the type advantage is almost the same amount in every case than having STAB, it is just x1.25, so here in POGO type advantage is just a psychological thing to feel that an attack is strong considering that the most important thing will always be the pokémon base stats and its level

I find a maxed up Hypno does okay. Hypno's are under-rated, but are a decent tool in the armoury.
