Why people say Dynamic punch better than Close combat?

After checking table, Close combat' dps is 45+, but DynamicPunch only 33.33. Why I saw many people said DP still better? Because it is 2 bar move or any other reasons?
Btw I just evolved my 5th machop, finally got one with c/cc :/ at least both have STAB. A/d/s=14/13/11, worth to power up?

I was wondering the same.
The only reason I can think of is:
1 bar move needs more time (double?) to be fully charged than 2 bar harge move.

Yesterday I evolved 2 machop into Machamp and got one with Counter/DynPunch.
I'm still holding on to power him up, but I want to try it against Blissey asap.

DPS is not a good estimation of one move's power. They shoudn't show it anymore, it's confusing.

DP does 180 damage in 5,4sec for 100 energy
CC does 100 damage in 2,3sec for 100 energy

Within the 3,1sec gain from CC faster Cool Down you can use 3 Counter which is 30 damage + 24 energy (let's consider this as 24 damage since CC does 1damage per energy)

So in one full cycle with DP, you make 26 damage more than with CC. Its not a hug difference but DP is a little bit better.

Two bar moves seem more valuable now because all quick moves were slowed down meaning that it takes longer to charge.

Not all 2 bars. Only the ones that have nearly as high dmg as the one bar (for example old-reworked cross chop is a 2 bar but is nowhere near close combat).
