what is a critical catch ?

I read in the release notes "critical catches are now implemented" but I don't know what this means.

It means you catch the Pokémon without the poke ball shaking not even once.

ok... and what kind of bonus you receive for a critical catch ? xp, candies, dust ? Something else ?

No bonuses except first throw, how good is your throw, and only curveballs giving more XP.

Unless you give the mon before catching with pinap berry and the candy is redoubled by it's evolution perspectively (5,9,19)

Do we know what causes it yet? Is it just completely random? Is it based on how you throw the ball or hit the pokemon? Or like I understand how it works in the main series, is it based on how filled your pokedex is?
