Machamp as attacker

Machamp was a terrible Pokemon before Gen2, so I saved 225 Machop Candy, and got really lucky while evolving it yesterday. Its moveset is Counter/Dynamic punch (Damage Per Second - 16,6 / 46).

Since Blissey has a weakness and Tyrannitar has a double weakness against fighting moves, and Machamp has STAB (and these guys will probably rule the metagame); I wonder: should I max him out?

Or: what would currently be better Blissey/Tyrannitar counters, in terms of DPS?

Btw: Its IV's are 12 att, 11 def, 15 hp, lvl 22.

Close Combat is a bit higher DPS than Dynamic Punch but the moveset you got is great too; better than getting Heavy Slam anyways. Definitely power that baby up and destroy some Tyranitars and Blisseys. :)

True, But you could use the Dynamic Punch twice as much, wouldn't that make this moveset even better than CC?

And is there any research on highest DPS per type yet?

I don't really understand the spreadsheet. How can I See the damage per second?

Or...if the gyms in your area aren't super tough, save the candies and try to get one with even higher IVs to evolve another possibly...

I just evolved one and got C/CC, but plan to save the rest of my candies in case I find a better Machop (mine was 80%)...

I need to farm Machop candies now...

I also saved my candies but unfortunately got the Steel charge move. However, Submission got a HUGE buff, so I may power up my Karate Chop/Submission one now instead of trying to evolve a new one. The only problem is that he's just L20.

Edit: Looks like there is a typo on manchamps' page. Submission is not 63 DPS.
