Is anyone scared to walk with Chansey?

I've been slow grinding buddy candies with Snorlax ever since I got my first one. (777 km) I'm considering giving the big fella a rest and switching to Chansey.

With the common opinion that Blissey is OP, is there a pretty good chance there could be a nerf in the not so distant future? I really don't know what to do!

Blissey will get her nerf until 69 minor patches.

But in all seriousness, go ahead and try. By the time you got sufficient candies, i think blissey is still top tier defender next to vaporeon and snorlax

She doesn't need a nerf she's perfectly beatable, specially with the new figthing moves.

Machamp can have both best fighting moves, so with counter and dynamic punch, it looks promising.
I think, with three big, perfect moveset Machamps, you will maybe be able to kill one blissey, shortly before time out.

Thing is that both psychic and fairy are SE against fighting. Blissey learns one psychic quick moves, one psychic charge move, and one fairy charge move. I think the new Ursaring may be her top counter.

What is worse? Super effective non STAB psychic moves or non Super effective STAB normal moves?

For some this question might be rhetorical, but who does not know the answer should refresh his knowledge about damage mechanics.

They are both equally bad. Which means that every move from blissey to Machamp hits with x1.25 (either STAB or SE). In contrast, only one of six blissey movesets hits both quick and charged with extra damage against Ursaring. Roughly 1/3 of Blissey dont hit the bear with either move for extra damage (the ones I named in my post). That was more my point.

Ok, and now the other way round.

We might have

machamp with a fight moveset (STAB+SE)

usaring with a fight moveset (SE, no STAB).

dragonite with a dragon moveset (STAB, non SE).

I do see not see, what makes usaring good against blissey.

^ This is what I was thinking, but I give Machamp more credit, hope 1 could beat 1 or at least bring Blissey down to where she is almost dead.

I really, REALLY should have waited before I evolved my 100% IV Machoke. I was so pleased when I got Karate Chop and Cross Chop and now that's gonna be like a "D" moveset :-(

Admittedly I haven't had a chance to attack into a Blissey.

But the Lvl 30 Blissey(2675CP, 380HP) ZH/DG that I put in a gym last night didn't last 30 minutes.

Attacking a few gyms this morning, my first impression is that with the increase in damage numbers for many charge moves, they hit like a howitzer now and probably won't have much trouble taking down a Blissey. Again, just speculation.

I fought such a Blissey (Prolly yours?) yesterday with a 3.400 DB/DC Dragonite, wasn't a big deal. Blissey is overestimated.

I have had the same thoughts about spending all my stardust on Blissey also. The thing is, Blissey hits harder than I expected and Machamp (legacy moves) was a lot worse against zen headbutt Snorlax.

I did battle my 2300 cp Blissey (zen headbutt/dazzling Gleam) with my 2700 Dragonite (DB/DC.) I dodged all of the Gleams, except 1, and it hurt pretty bad. I beat her, but Gleam is going to hit dragons and fighting types really hard, not to mention the psychic quick move. I think it is going to come down to how well you dodge, which seems to be easier, for me at least.
