Hi guys! When I was young I got about 7/9 2km eggs in my bag, now I'm level 25 and after about 22-23 lvl I get 8/9 5km eggs. I hatched 105 eggs now. I wonder if the egg distance depends on your lvl, so my statistic proves it. I need more 2km eggs to get starting mons like charmander, but now 2km egg is as rare as 10km to get... So i believe after about 30 lvl I'll get all 10km eggs :D
Lvl 27, get about 90 percent 5km eggs. Used to be all 2s. I doubt it's level, more likely they just changed the drop rates though.
Side note: it like 2s and 10s come in streaks. Like if I get a 10 the next will probably be a 10, but if it's not then I broke the streak and I won't get one for a long time(usually get 2 or 3 in a row after weeks of none)

I am level 33 and I rarely get 10 KM eggs. I went an entire month where I didn't get even 1 single 10 KM egg. And then last week I got 5 in 2 days. And now I am getting about 1 every other day or so... I suspect I will hit another dry spell and get none for a few weeks.
It is just random.
Totally agree with u, there's a chance to get 2-5km mons from 10km egg, but it's about 1 percent or even lower. I always get pokemons according to the egg distance, but i've heard of someone getting rattata from 10km egg :D
But the question was that in the beginning I didn't get a lot of 5km eggs, but now I can't get rid of them...
