Is there any source that has all the new moves and dmg assigned to all the pokemon? I noticed Flareon has a new quick and secondary move.

Just evolved three gyardos. Dragon tail, outrage, and crunch are among the new moves. Outrage is Dragon type with two bars, 110 each!

Dragon Breath does 12 damage, same as Steel Wing. I wonder how many people boosted their Steel Wing dragonites as defenders :)

Also, Machamp finally got a better Karate Chop with 8 damage, and Cross Chop is now a 2-bar move. Seems they changed almost EVERYTHING. Hyperbeam with 150 damage now.

Hydro Pump is now 130 up from 90, so 160 doesn't seem that big now. Seems like the fire type version of Hyper Beam I guess.

It seems moves have mostly been increased in damage. Dragon Breath is now 12, Bite and Water Gun 10, Hyper Beam 150, et cetera. Steel Wing from 15 to 12 though.

No idea on cooldowns, too late to go out and test them in gyms.

Slower moves either got reduced or stayed the same while quicker moves got increases it seems. Bubble down from 25 to 15, Confusion up from 15 to 20 though, Steel Wing from 15 to 12, Ice Shard from 15 to 12.

And no more useless 5-bar moves.

I think it's unfair to add new moves to already existing mons, since we based on moveset to select which one to power up. They add and change moves so casually which means your investment (mostly stardust) in certain mons might be wasted every few months, unless they allow us to (at least randomly) get new moveset for a pokemon.

Why would they make changes like swapping the power of Aqua Tail and Water Pulse?
Hydro Pump 100 energy, 130 damage
Water Pulse 50 energy, 70 damage
Aqua Tail 33 energy, 50 damage

I haven't been able to test it yet, but I'd assume that now Aqua Tail is the best defensive move and Water Pulse is the mixed offensive/defensive move. This is fine for my high level Vaporeons, but all of my 1000 to 1400 Vaporeons with Aqua Tail are presumably not as good as they should be. And in the past I have transferred countless low level Vaporeons with Water Pulse.

They should have maintained the relative strength between different moves.

Maybe this is their player retaining strategy. Give more moveset possibilities so you have to grind even more to get the moves you want, and then do the same again when moves get rebalanced.

This strategy sounds smart at the first glance. But think about it, players will soon find out they keep being fooled (like we do), they will be furious, quit, and never come back.

I agree this is annoying, but with the cheaper mon storage sale, I'd think it's wise to probably stockpile high IV mons with ALL movesets. It's impossible to know what they will change in the future...

I've also noticed Bite is tons slower now...
