Question about Vaporeon and Gyarados.

Two questions for you guys.
I got a Vaporeon with 93% IV with Water Gun/Dragon Pulse.
15 ATK
14 DEF
13 HP
I really wish it were attack moveset but still good for me. Is it worth to power up this mon?
//
Second question is if worth it evolving a Magikarp with 97 % IV with 104CP.
Magikarp are really rare around here.
Sry for my bad english I'm not a native.

Assuming that you mean the vaporeon has water pulse, I think you should power it up. Vaporeons make good defenders, with high CP. Powering up defenders can be very useful.

If Magikarp candies are so rare for you, I'm not sure about evolving that magikarp. Do you have any other magikarp that you're considering? Also, are you planning on using the gyrardos, or are you just doing it to add to the pokedex?

No, I have only this Magikarp and this is the only who came with a great IV. And yes I want as attacker.

-Don't power up this Vaporeon. The lists on internet just rank Vaporeon as a good defender becouse of its high stats. Vaporeon's only possible quick move is water gun, and it doesn't work well in gyms. Even with water pulse, this pokemon is poor at defending.
-Evolve this Magikarp. This Gyarados will have, at least, 1000 CP. Each power up will add more than 100 CP, so you will just need a few candys to raise it to a good CP.

It's good to hear that each powerup will give Gyarados 100HP. I have a Magikarp IV95% + 193CP. So I will evolve it right now.

That just happens if your Gyarados is below level 30. When any pokemon reachs level 30, the number of CP added in power ups is reduced.

Gyarados does not go up 100 cp per level below 30. Its 42-41 per power up.
