"rich" in coins

Incubators for me every time. I've used the free lucky eggs, but once you hit lv30 your wild catches don't change and powering up Pokes each level brings minimal returns. Yes generally incubating eggs is more useful for dust than contents, but you might get the odd gem...

The 25 egg route doesn't seem too exciting after saving up so many coins. I usually buy an egg one at a time as needed(takes quite awhile for me to save up 70+ pidgeys worth of candy). Even with lucky eggs lvl 33 is quite a wall to get over.

Incubators keep the game interesting, you may get exactly what you need or want. At the very least give you something to keep walking toward and dust to spend.

I'd definitely spend the bulk of the coins on incubators.

I similarly bought the 25 egg package around level 27 or so and am at level 32 with 20 of them left so I would suggest getting the 8 egg package and otherwise staying with incubators. The incremental advantage of leveling up is minimal now and (to me anyway) isn't worth the coins.

In retrospect, I would have been better off doing that even back when I purchased my 25 eggs.

already lv 33, focus on storage til reaching 1000. you'll find it difficult to catch pokemon and also train/battle gym when your storage has not yet maximized.

I am in the minority and would go with the 25 eggs...

I am Level 30 and am in the same boat...About to buy my 25, but look at it this way, the grind up to 40 is even worst than 1-30 and if you can double your EXP or 4x during an event, you will want to...

There is also CP creep so higher level makes a big deal for common gym defenders with lots of candy like Vaporeon...

Since you also get 50-100/day coins anyways, you can buy the storage, incubators so fast (in 2-3 days) so after you get your 25 eggs, you are DONE with eggs for a long long time...

I'm over 1300 coins now and plan to get the eggs when I am ready for my next evolve party.

I say get items to 1K first. No brainer, improves gameplay and saves time. Under 33 id say level up with eggs.
As a free player I say save your gold until an event starts. Also a no brainer imo. What if the next event requires purchase of a special item of some sort or hatching a certain mon helps you fight a certain gym defender or whatever. Based on the current event history the chances are each event is different not repeated. I horded my gold since Halloween and used it all on incubators(50+) during Christmas and am back to stacking my cheddar and saving my incubators now.

I like to get some of the permanent upgrades to a good capacity, things like bag space and pokemon storage. Then a couple of incubators.

Sure early in the game people swear by only getting eggs etc and i think getting eggs to fly through the first 20 levels is fine. But i find as it gets grindier, getting the item capacity to a nice spot and obviously being able to catch nonestop without having to worry about space. And using eggs you earn from levelling up is ok ( obviously early levels go much faster so you get more rewards)

Get some eggs sure, but chill out, who needs 25 in one go!

Get the 25 lucky eggs and then only use them when you are about to hatch nine 10K eggs at once.

Trust me. I brought the 25 egg package months ago and then spent the remainder on 8 incubators. I then only use the purchased incubators and lucky egg when I do a 10k batch hatch and I found myself with eggs to spare.

Go for the eggs, then the incubators.

For me, evolves consistently tend to grant m about 40% of my total XP gained if I use a lucky egg during all my evolves. This means I expect to make about 1000 evolves for every 2.5M XP gained. If it's about the same for you you will probably make 6000-7000 more evolves before reaching level 40. if you evolve 70 mons per egg that would put you at about 100 eggs needed to reach level 40 as soon as you can. Double XP events could speed that up, though. Still, I would probably go with buying 8 at a time as needed so you can spend gold on incubators since it will probably take at least a year to reach level 40 anyway. If you average 50g per day you would get 1500 per month. Spending 500 each time for 8 eggs should be enough to sustain egg uses, leaving you with 1000 coins every 30 days for incubators or other items. It will likely take 2-3 years to reach 40 as opposed to 1 which would mean you have even more time to get all the lucky eggs you need to maximize evolve XP.

My way:
(1) Max out Item space (done, 1000)
(2) Have a comfortable pokemon space (done, 500 atm)
(3) Hatch 10-km-Eggs (and only these) with blue incubators (10 incubators left).
(4) No further lucky Egg neccesairy as i am at level 32, no other items needed.

All Coins that remain i save and wait for other discounted offers. For x-mas-offer, i bought many discounted incubators.
