How to check for # of candies?

I recently realized that without a particular Pokémon or its evolutions in my collection, I actually cannot check how many candies I have for that mon. i.e. I recently transferred my last Paras and Parasect so now I can't check how many Paras candies I have...

Is there another way to check? The Pokedex doesn't show # of candies.

You have to catch another Paras, keep at least 1 for a family.

Finder paras and get it, dont know any other way

Candies can only be used to evolve or power up, you can't do either of both, so checking how many Paras candies you have without a Paras or Parasect to use them is useless.

To know the number of Paras-Candy is very important if you want to sell your account. Imagine - almost everybody has snorlax, dragonite and lapras, but who has more than my 1850 Paras-candy? ;-)
