How to know the level of my pokemon(between the 4 options)
Hello , ive been trying to make an app that will calculate the iv... Reading the guides here i think that i have to find out first the pokemon level and the pokemon stamina iv... i used multiple pokemons on my tests... with my snorlax i got this result :

If you access your PoGo account via Gmail authentication then you can use a Gmail authentication code to allow IV Stats read access to the data in your Pokemon Go account without exposing yourself to the risk of having the PoGo account hijacked.
If you access your PoGo account via PTC then the only way to use IV Stats is to convey your PoGo account login credentials.
It does nothing to your account. And one good thing that when i use PokeGenie I have to screenshot my pokemons then save them there. ivStats wants your account, its got your poke-data base and list all the pokemon you have by the procentage. When you click on pokemon it showes you more details such as ATK, DEF and HP, moveset, what CP it can get and some other stuff. I'm really disappointed they havent made it for iOS users so far. All iPhone apps i've checked or used werent as good as this one. :(
But yeah- PokeGenie is also nice and have a lovely interface.
If you don't have the exact level and IV's of the pokemon there can be a whole range of possible values that would result in the same candy cost, CP value and HP value.
The dot on the arc that is on your pokemon screen tells what level it is out of the current max. The silphroad has an IV calculator so you can get a visual of how it works.
What I use is GoIV that can take a screenshot and read the information from that. By adding information from the appraisals the range of values can be narrowed down.
This could be the way to go if you are making an app.
