Hi everyone,
There is a list on this site for every pokemon that shows the true dps of moves but it's for a perfect one, right? So, is there a way for calculating my not perfect pokemon's true dps values which is at level 25,5? I found some excel studies that shows moves' dps, even they show the wSTAB but none of them includes the true dps with my pokemon's attack values. So how can i know that which pokemon is better to attack with?

all my iv are 13 or above, so i know they will perform almost equally good in ATT, DEF and HP

u can use poke assistant to find out the base stat of your pokemon and apply to the damage formula

to be honest, if u already know the iv is low, why bother wasting time on checking those dps

That's true but what i really want to know is that which of these two is better for attack: for example poliwrath with ice punch or dewgong with icy wind. Let's assume both are at similar level. My purpose is to name pokemon in a way to see which would be better to attack with.

I can tell you right now it's the Poliwrath that's better. Icy wind is arguably the worst move in the game and has nearly 1/2 the dps of dewgongs normal attacks so there's no point in ever using it. I feel your pain though, i had a 98% IV dewgong that got icy wind :(

thanks but those two pokemon were just for example. i didn't want to learn just those two. i will name all my pokemons according to their true dps values for easy sorting.

to be fair, some moves combination are unusable in gym battle, you should sort them out before anything else

yeah but let's say i'm level 26 and i don't wanna waste stardust yet even if i have a perfect moveset pokemon. i want to know if a level 20 pokemon with perfect moveset is better or worse than level 26 pokemon with a worse moveset in a battle. Or 24 - 26 etc.

u need to consider the hp gain per 0.5 level,
and the level of the defending pokemon
if both of them are against a lv 24-26 pokemon,
with type advantage, the lower level one with good move set will finish the opponent with ease,
without type advantage, they both do likely the same

I think you should follow the true DPS on the site, regardless of what your Pokemon IV is, because a pokemon with generally high ATK stats and low ATK IV is still better than a generally weak pokemon with high ATK IV. Arcanine with 1 ATK IV and Weedle with 15 ATK IV for example, Arcanine is still a powerhouse

Ok but if you look at arcanine's best charge move (fireblast) has lower true dps than flareon's fireblast's true dps. I don't understand that. Flareon is not on the tier list according to this site. How could its attack be more powerful than arcanine's?
