Which Magikarp to evolve?

i have a magikarp with 179 cp and 82%IV (with 15 atk 7 def and 15 stam), but i also have one with 142 Cp 84%IV (14 atk, 10 def, 14 stam)

which one should i evolve?

The second one. The first one has a really bad defense, don't worths.

For all the candy it takes thats the only one I'd wait for a 90+ one, maybe even 95. Maybe I'm lucky but I've got quite a few good magikarp from 2km eggs. Maybe wait till you have 450 so you can power it up too, and maybe you'll have a better one by then!

I would wait for a 90%+ IV Magikarp to evolve, since you need 400 candys to do it.

Yea as much as it's tempting to get a Gyaradose. I'd most likely wait for a 90%+ IV Magikarp.

Yep, maybe consider evolution when you get 800 candies, then you must have magikarp with better IV/CP
