Will you power up 100%IV 1300cp dragonite with SW/HB

Not if it would always drive you crazy having an imperfect moveset that you invested so much into. Would have have a really high cp if that's your thing though

it's not terrible especially if u have candies and stardust but honestly, if u dont have a ton of those, i would just wait till u get the best move sets for defense.

I would power it up. Personally, CP matters to me more so than moveset for defense. Steel wing and hyperbeam isn't horrible. A 100% IV dragonite would land itself at the top of the gym at the end of the day.

Yes, it's worth powering up. It's still a top defensive moveset with the best IV's possible in the game. What matters most is CP. Gym defense becomes a game of leap-frog where the bottom few get knocked off and higher CP stack on top.

Doesn't matter what moves your Dragonite has, if it's at the bottom of the gym all someone needs is a Cloyster with 1/2 its CP, and some basic dodging skills and he's a goner
