CP 19. Now what?

So I have a couple of guys (1 Polywag, 1 Krabby) that after leveling up once have a CP of 19. So what do I do with these guys now? Are they trash?

However, if they are at the recommended level, and have 19 but not 20 CP, yeah they are probably not very useful for the strategy (though they could possibly be used, you will not gain prestige nearly as fast).

Attacking into a CP 19 with a CP 10 will award 950 prestige instead of 1000. Saying that's "not nearly as fast" seems extreme. (It would take ~45 battles to max out a gym instead of 42 - not ideal, but definitely not worthless.)

Ok. Thanks. I'll try attacking my 19s with a cp10 diglet with scratch. I haven't been lucky enough to find one with mud slap yet. I wonder if it would be a good idea to go another route. Maybe I could power the defenders up one more time and also power up the attacker a bit?
