Wiggly is just an ok defender, because it has a lot of HP, Snorlax is like a big brother in that sense, because hes got even better stats AND HP.
I usually use Dragonite with dragon breathe/dragon claw and Alakazam with psycho cut/psychic. These two take him out the quickest, imo the best "counters" for now, I hope Scizor will be better :D

Dragonite is a better counter against Snorlax than Rhydon, but the latter is more readily available. Aren't you the same idiot who said that Vaporeon isn't good because HP is his only good charge move? Yeah ... terrible. Maybe refrain from giving bad advice on these boards.

Dragonite will defeat Snorlax faster, with more remaining HP and dodging is much, much easier.

lol aren't you the same idiot that said water pulse is the best defensive moveset? Thought so. Do either of us work for Niantic? No so stfu and mind your own business ? If you don't like what I have to say don't read it simple as that. Hmmm idk walk 150 km for a Rhydon or 625 km for a dratini to evolve to a Dragonite without knowing if it'll have dragon breath idk? You do the math.

I did the math, and it unequivocally confirms that Water Pulse is the best defensive charge move for Vaporeon. You're just stupid.

And the OP is asking about a DB Dragonite, so he clearly has one (walking distance isn't an issue here; nice strawman, though). You're the one who is a jerk talking about Rhydon out of nowhere. Newsflash, you suck at this game. You don't have to work for Niantic to be able to understand basic mathematics, noob.

Calm down...
The question is "what is the best pokemon against...?" Your answer is wrong that's all.
No Matter what it takes to people to get a dragonite, rhydon is not the optimal pokemon to use.
If the Guy asked "2+2=?" Your answer would be "3+1" Instread of "4".

Everybody can kill a snorlax with a vaporeon, a rhydon of even a ponyta.

Your answer is absolutely wrong when it comes to the "best" pokemon to use.

And just so you can know: arcanine kills snorlax faster than rhydon.

Rhydon is truely a pokemon that only has CP, this pokemon is supposed to be good somewhere, but there is always some pokemons doing better stuff.
I'm not talking about defense where rhydon is completly useless...

Water Pulse is the best defensive moveset on Vaporeon.

You're entitled to your own opinion when it comes to giving advice, but there's a difference between offering subjective advice that someone disagrees with and making statements that are just factually incorrect.

Dragonite ofc.

Between those 2, Dragonite should do the job faster.

I myself normally use Gyarados, Vap. (with Hydro Pump) and Wigglytuff (Pound/Hyper Beam) to attack into Snorlax. I know that my maxed out 100% IV Dragonite with DB/DC will do the job quicker but I found it a bit boring to use...

The real issue though come when training against Snorlax with half CP mons, that's tough.

Prestiging against Snorlax is a job for low CP dragonite or Wigglytuff, basically what the OP is already asking about -- just lower the CP. Two most effective mons for the job in either case (battle / prestige).

And that is what I am using for prestiging against Snorlax, CP1100 Pound/HB Wiggly which I have a couple. All my Dragonites are over CP3000 (actually 4 above CP3300) to be able to take the top spot in the gyms.

Very nice, I've got 3 above 3500 CP and maybe 12 above 3400 CP. Dragonite is my main focus in farming / catching for the past several months.

Good luck, OP.
