You have an Tier 1.5 attacker and defender with high IVs and a A-B moveset and ask if you should power it up?! What the fuck dude.

I generally only power up my Vaporeons with Aqua Tail or Water Pulse anymore for gym defending. I prefer Water Pulse since people like myself tend to get lazy and not even bother dodging it.

My Hydro Pump Vaporeons have become red headed step childs because evees are so common and in most gyms you would never attack with more than 2 and they not the best defenders. I'd be more likely to dust a 80 IV Vap with Pulse or Tail than a 95 IV vap with pump, but just depends on your squad and needs.
