Why is Tyranitar not a Good Counter or at least a Tank Counter?
The purple shadow with the huge grin should also be listed as a Glass Counter.
I can understand ttar's exclusion. It's a good counter, but when competing against other dragons, all of which have higher attack, its considered sub-optimal counter. Even against double dragon latias, the dragons are still better.
I'm more confused at Mewtwo's inclusion. It's a sub-optimal counter as well. Ttar and Gengar are both better than M2
They also made Mewtwo do more damage too. Buffed super effective Shadow Ball coming from a base 300 attack is enough to offset any damage from NVE Psycho Cut getting nerfed. Shadow Ball is just that powerful and Psycho Cut makes it nearly full-auto.
Unrelated fun fact, Shadow Ball is so powerful that there's not much of a reason Darkrai would ever run Dark Pulse over it. The extra STAB damage isn't enough to offset Shadow Ball's raw base damage.
