Latias/Latios

https://pokemongolive.com/en/post/weekendraid2019-latias/

So, few questions, I started raiding when latias/latios came out so I only had one latias, 3 latios.

The questions apply for both, as I know they have 2 different charge moves (Or and DC, and Thunder and SB)
1) How do either preform in pvp? I know both have dragon breath, and latios in particular has the coveted dragon claw/dragon breath combo, so how good are both of them for pvp?

2) For those who raided these two, and to an extent rayquaza and giratina more than I did, did you ever notice if using non-dragon types (so in this case mamoswine or weavile) do better than the dragons due to better survivability?

From my looking at Pokebattler:
I always sort by time to win, but noticed the power (TDO basically) was also higher for the faster killers generally.

In neutral weather, dragons were the best. It flipped between Ray and Palkia, and even Salamence, depending on moves. Also recommended Draco Meteor on Dragonite. I'm guessing they can all survive a dragon charge attack.

In windy weather, dragons obviously still reign supreme then.

In foggy weather, Gengar does the best DPS. Ray is second, and Mewtwo is third.

In snow, Mamoswine comes first place. Weavile is second.
However in anything other than snow, Weavile performs better than Mamoswine (often 7th and 8th, or 8th and 9th overall). Weavile not only does more DPS, but also has higher power (due to his Psychic immunity-tier resistance) - except against Thunder Mamoswine is better for both DPS and TDO (due to his own immunity-tier resistance). The reason for this is that dark is also super effective, so Weavile takes Feint Attack instead of Ice Shard as his fast move and gets more damage from it.

So, a full dragon team will still treat you well. Always top-end attackers. Only alternatives that you'd potentially want are Gengar/Mewtwo in fog, or Mamoswine/Weavile in snow. The former is rare everywhere, but the latter is very possible.

Gengar actually does BETTER against Zen Headbutt sets (I guess because the fast move charges him faster) - but still weaker than Dragons in neutral weather (comes 5th overall).

Ive always wondered what 'Power' means on pokebattler, ive used it somewhat, but dont understand what some of the things mean (I know TDO and TTW)

So a lot like against mewtwo, theirs a general best option, (dragons here) but when weather comes in, then it changes. thanks for the info

It's looking sunny and bright here this weekend, so it's looking like the dragons are going to get a continued workout.

1) Latios is extremely good because of the DB/DC combo. Latias not so much, OR is too slow to charge when using DB.

2) Always dragons, unless I guess your phone is very slow to rejoin.

DC is a great shield burner, but it's somewhat too weak for neutral damage. Outrage is brutal once the shields are gone, especially if you can fire off more of them thanks to tankiness. All this to say: Latios is a great battle opener, Latias a nightmare finisher.

Of course, all in its context: in Master League there's way too much Mewtwo and Tyranitar that deal SE devastating damage with charged attacks and are actually useful in PvE, so people have them maxed out. Not everyone has Lati@s maxed out. In Ultra League, Latios is simply a no go due to the high attack inflated CP effect, and Latias performs fairly well again as a finisher.
